Krishna knows definitely that karna willnever accept this offer..and that's y he offered..he wanted to make karna to struggle internally..if a person is extremely strong and talented..nobody can beat him then what should we do to beat him..nothing disturbing him mentally will work..ofcourse i am not blaming our supreme God..he knows everything..somehow he has to beat karna..but I would say this was the best way because it really fetched fame to our karna
