I I think you failed to understand what the purpose of this post was.

@bold. You just don't get it, do you?
No one said that. No fan did. That is what you interpreted, by twisting it out of context and now it seems you're doing this deliberately.
Well, create the debate. And enjoy your bashing and defending.
Didn't you just say in that thread that you're not discussing this any further?
Well, my interpretation is that you're out to create trouble.
Now don't judge me, because everyone has a right to their interpretations, like you obviously have one too.

And that is the issue here. If one gets off the back foot, one will understand the comments.

If our press is criticizing Sonam's performance, the attitude is "look, even your press is saying so. So why can't we say it?"
if our press criticizes Imran, its "Indian media never gives our stars good roles. They always run them down"
My point is why can't we get a balanced feedback? Why is it always our doing?
No one has forced anyone to work in BW at gun point. Fawad himself has refused earlier, proving that whatever he did was his choice. He also said that his plans to come here in 2008 didn't work out because of the political situation.
So how come its always our fault? If its good, its because the star is yours. If its bad, its because we don't give you decent roles/respect/whatever.
If your TV serials are liked, its because your serials are so good. But if there is something that we don't like, it because Indians are used to rubbish content and don't have the openness to accept anything from anywhere else.
Please don't expect to defend blindly and not hear anything in return,
As much as I think there are loads of TV serials from all over the world, as well as movies which are far better than a lot of what we produce, I refuse to take criticism with a "one up" attitude, that everything everywhere is fantastic and the muck only lies with Indian stuff.

Ohhh Godd now we are going to go to blue green once again. Well this was your whole post:

"I also thought so. This whole attitude sucks big time. If Fawad does well, its because he is so good and they are not going to let us "keep him" Well, I would like to be mean and say that if he had as good opportunities there, he wouldn't have needed to step out to start with.
If this movie didn't get happy reviews, they would have said that critics never give their stars good reviews and our industry never gives them good roles.

I just said it above, and I will say it again. KS is a lovely movie. I'm not a Sonam fan, but she was really good here. Over and above that, this movie couldn't have been what it is if it wasn't for the entire cast and crew. So while Fawad is really good, the credit cannot go solely to him.
I'm reading things like Fawad is going to change the face of Indian cinema and stuff in their reviews. ***rolling my eyes*** Yes, he's good, but please don't get so ambitious.
Its a slap slap situation for us, no matter what we do.😡".

I think you should realize that when you use angry face it means you are "pi**ed off". But I do not really want to go into the discussion of what pi**ed off" means.

My concern was your this comment
"If Fawad does well, its because he is so good and they are not going to let us "keep him" Well, I would like to be mean and say that if he had as good opportunities there, he wouldn't have needed to step out to start with".

You can use as many ifs and buts as you like but this comment has one meaning only i.e. you were angry and in heat of the moment you said that "Fawad had no good opportunities in Pakistan that is why he went to bollywood". You yourself said that you will be mean and say this so hence you wanted to be mean. It is alright. Sometimes we say things in spur of a moment. No big deal. After all it is your opinion and you are entitles to have one. My post was not meant to pinpoint you or your viewpoint. This is why I did not take any names or mention any posts. I referred it generally. Neither did I want to attack any fans anywhere.

My intention was to discuss this article, that whether it is harsh or not and discuss this idea that Pakistani artists do not have opportunities here hence they go to bollywood. I hope you understand and will not try to digress this topic by turning it into something personal.

I am not at all going to discuss this with you any further and turn it into a personal fight. I think we should both try and spare this forum from our personal feud. I have mentioned what the purpose of the post was and I will continue with the general discussion.

@bold in pink.
Of course, YOU know it all. My anger, MY spur of the moment, My heat of the moment.😆

YOu know it all!
👏
You're so clever! I'm impressed.

Carry on. With that kind of an attitude to purposely misquote to create an issue, seems like this is your idea of fun.
BTW, What blue v/s green? who is blue and who is green?
If I'm not mistaken the sky is blue every where in the world and the grass is green everywhere in the world. I wonder what you are trying to say.
YOU are the one who is saying, insinuating, creating differences and WANTING to create trouble.

Enjoy your party!🥳

Yup thanks I am clever. I know what does "I will be mean" actually means. But fine whatever.. to end it here ..lets say what you want to hear. Ohh you seemed so happy in your post , you were not mean at all, you were not pi**ed off at all. You were so jubilant, so humorous, so cordial. You were simply the epitome of very best of everything. Now are you happy. Can we now please end it here.

Bollywood is going to want to keep this one, because he puts all their Ranveers and Ranbirs to shame, but sorry guys - this one's ours. Find another Khan to take over Shahrukh, Aamir and Salman's throne, but good luck finding one that sits it so well, and so naturally.

What a big joke. 🤣 🤣

The review was a bit harsh and the bits about him being "ours" and better than actors in India uncalled for. Sonam was good but I felt her clothes were a major distraction. Don't blame her for the malfunction though as somebody who is always properly dressed wouldn't be able to pick mismatched clothes - and this is why I think the designer needs to up her game big time.
The direction was a bit weak and the editing could have been a bit more crisp. The groovy songs, Engine ki seeti and Party shuru were wasted IMO as the former comes across as more fun on YouTube and the latter was just thrown in towards the end. Also, what was the point of the last minute choreography on Maa ka phone if they weren't going to use it?

So yeah, plenty of complaints, but then I didn't think the Pakistani "masterpiece" Waar was perfect either... the writer needs to take it easy.

Also, its pointless to be ignorant - there is a lot of work in Pakistan, specially for an actor like Fawad with his popularity and all. But like he said so himself in the NDTV interview - the big difference is the investment (read: the money is attractive). And when its OK for other professionals to move out of the country to earn better etc., why is it not OK for an actor who is just another professional?
