Hey guys.
This is a bit different from how I usually write.
Does not involve Aliya at all.
Just Zain.
Likes and comments- appreciative and critical are wholeheartedly welcome.
Bit of a life lesson :P
Read all my works SLOWLY.

Zain grinned as he pedalled harder.
The cycle shot forward in a burst of speed.
The wind lashed against his face, his hair plastered all over his forehead with sweat.
He felt exhilarating.
Alive.
His grin grew wider as he saw the approaching slope.
Oh, how he loved riding his black bike down it.
The speed have him thrills.
His heart soared.
He closed his eyes.
That momentary lapse of judgement cost him as he forgot to slow down at the speed breaker.
The cycle toppled over, throwing him out of balance.
The next moment he found himself under the cycle, on the ground.
The wheels made an annoying whirring sound.
He had scraped his elbows and his knees were bleeding profusely.
Tears welled up in his eyes as his wounds burned.
He waited, his breath abate.
Waited for his mum to come and fess over him.
Waited for his friends to come over and help him up.
But the truth was he was riding all alone.
So after a minute or was it two, he groaned and wriggled from underneath the cycle.
He helped himself up, brushed down the dust from his three-fourths, straightened his cycle and limped back home.
