Muslim based shows are becoming quite popular these days on Indian television. They have been around for quite some time, but they're seeing more limelight at present with popular shows on leading channels like Qubool Hai and Beintehaa. We're going to take a look at the most popular Muslim based serials on Indian TV so far.

Beintehaa

Colors' Beintehaa is about Zain (Harshad Arora) and Aaliya's (Preetika Rao) love story. These two were married because of Zain's father, Usman (Naved Aslam). They didn't get along at first, but eventually fell in love. Misunderstandings led to a separation and eventual divorce. Zain has realized he was in the wrong all along and wants to win Aaliya back. However, as per popular belief, once the third talaaq' is done there's no going back. Will Zain be able to get Aaliya back in his life? Beintehaa eventually tells the story of winning back your love despite the impossible circumstances.
