I like your post. :) Though, I am not sure about 'Aliyah staying at Rehan's place part' ---
- When Aliyah was given her first talaq, she stayed with Rehan and family. I know that she was staying back then because of the kids and kids also helped her. I don't remember whether she was paying rent back then too and even if she was, it just looks weird though I do understand the reason why this was done this way.
- As for post-divorce, it is clear that Aliyah and Rehan have their own individual places and I hope Zain quickly realizes that Rehan and Aliyah live apart and that dhabba ppl tell him that Aliyha is not married to Rehan.
And yes, perhaps it is simply human nature to take sides - sometimes it's our sense of justice screaming and sometimes we end up playing the blame-game and wishing for a tit-for-tat.
