Chapter 11
Place : Bhopal.
Zain is restless. He is walking up and down. His thoughts were like sea waves which break the shore. He couldn't concentrate himself with one thing. His mind travelled faster than ever. Flash backs of Aliya crying and begging him not to file a Divorce, the way he carelessly walked out of her life leaving her shattered and even more past scenes where he burnt the T-Shirt, tore her blouse and the passionate dance, then the second marriage and their consummation. All were like waves of shock and memories fade. It was not only making him weak but also making him cry even more shout even more...He is angry on himself. He couldn't bear the pain...this pain knowing that his Aliya is so far away from him. He is ready to do anything and everything for his love.
Place : Pune
After Aliya showed Zubbair the guest room she walked In her balcony up and down. Her mind is so fast in thinking the past. She don't know why she had tears in her eyes. She is more shattered. She is not the Aliya who her mother, sister, friends, cousins and even her husband know. Now Aliya is a different woman. Who can never become a hose wife again. She have seen the world. The cheap world. The butterfly is now out of its caccon. No one can make it go inside the caccon again. Her memories dint fade. The first meeting, the wedding, the reception, the so called honeymoon, the holi celebration, the date, the second wedding, the everything...THE everything...till their consummation was in her mind now...A smile creased her lips. Suddenly her face changed. The way she screamed, the way he simply walked away...she could never forget that night.
Place : Bhopal.
Aayat brought a glass of milk to Zain's room. She knocked the door which made Zain came out his memories.
Zain : Doll, its too late now...You dint sleep?
Aayat : No, I thought I would bring you some milk. And to inform you that the bus is at 7 in the morning. Wake up early.
Zain : Don't worry. I wont even get sleep.
Aayat smiled and went out. Suddenly she turned back and saw Zain drinking the milk.
Aayat : (Monologue) Sorry Jiju you wont even wake up tomorrow.
Place : Pune
Aliya is making some pasta for her as she skipped dinner and she is feeling hungry now...
Zubbair : Arre Aalu...what are you doing here in this mid night?
Aliya : Making Pasta for me...I am hungry.
Zaubbu : Shall I help you?
Aliya L No need I'll take care. Thank you.
Zubbair opened the fridge and took out a bottle and went to his room.
The next morning.
Place : Pune
Aliya is watching something in her laptop.
Zubbair : Aalu don't you have any work today.
Aliya : (Without turning) No, I have many work to do...why??
Zubbair : Just asking. Ok I am leaving bye.
Zubbair waited for a reply but he dint get one...so he left.
Place : Bhopal
Aayat : Salam Waalaiqum Ammi.
Shabana : Waalaiqum Aayat.
Aayat yawned and went near the fridge.
Aayat : (Holding a bottle of some juice) Oh no I asked Jiju to take this with him when he go...But he forgot to take it.
Shabana : Zain is here only.
Aayat : What he dint go till now?
Shabana : No, why are you shocked?
Aayat : It was his bus in 7 in the morning...
Shabana : What? Come lets see what he is doing?
Zain was sleeping. Seeing this both were shocked.
Shabana : Zain...Zain...(Waking her up)
Zain : Umm...Fhoops...
Zain got up slowly and rubbed his eyes like a child
Aayat : Jiju its already 8 in the morning.
Aayat asked Shabana to bring something hot for him.
Aayat : Jiju what have you done. There was an announcement that no busses will go today.
Zain : Oh no...(he held his head)
Shabana entered with a glass of coffee.
Shabana : Its ok Zain we can go tomorrow.
Zain : How can I forget this and Sleep?
Shabana : No problem Zain...We can go tomorrow..
Zain couldn't believe himself and he felt more guilty now...He is so angry on himself...He couldn't believe h=that he was careless on this...
Aayat and Shabana moved out of the room leaving Zain to freshen up. Aayat stopped at the door and she turned back to see Zain.
Aayat : (Monologue) I am so sorry Jiju. But I cant help you. I can understand the way you feel now but you have to cross all this to reach Appi.
She moved off leaving Zain in confusion and guilty.
Place : Pune
Zubbair called Aayat.
Zubbair : Aayat what happened?
Aayat : Everything is going perfect. You just doing what you have to...
Zubbair : But I feel so bad for Aalu...Se is feeling so sad. I have never seen her like this before.
Aayat : Yea, but this is not only to make them meet again. This is also a lesson for Jiju. A lesson from me. To make me see my Appi shattered, lonely and (Sobbing )
Zubbair : I will say this is too much Aayat.
Aayat : Just few more days. He have to, have to go through all this...
Zubbair : Ok I leave this in your hands. Here Aliya is almost Ok. I hope she wont do anything wrong.
Aayat : Just take care of Appi...I will handle everything here.
They cut the call. Aayat turned.
Aayat is shocked to see Shabana standing behind her.
