I don't know how many people here would agree with me, but I actually feel sorry for Nafeesa. Of course what she did was unforgivable and is probably going to haunt her for life; however, despite of that, I have a soft corner for her.

For me, she was probably the first victim of Suraiyya's greed and need to control everyone's lives. As someone who is strictly against polygamy and considers it like a sort of hit to human rights, I sympathize with her. Whatever the circumstances behind Fahad and Shazia's marriage were, it doesn't bode well with me, that as someone who claims to love Nafeesa, Fahad would marry someone else - I don't agree with the whole "trapped him into an affair" excuse, there is never an excuse for cheating, ever. And then the fact that Shazia gave birth to a boy - which in itself in stupid and retrogressive because these are educated people who should have the basic knowledge that sex of a baby depends on the father and not the mother.

Her unhappiness and displeasure is not unfounded. Abdullah was seen to be the cupid between Zain and Aaliya; he did everything in his power to get them together - why wasn't the same consideration shown for his fist daughter-in-law, who had to undergo the injustice of not only seeing her husband have an affair (or something like that), and get married against her wishes? According to me, Abdullah should have at least tried to interfere in that matter, if not helped Nafeesa get her share of rights and understood her wishes. Because clearly Suraiyya is a witch and a vixen rolled into one!

I don't condone what Nafeesa did; but probably because I would never be able to see my husband with someone else, I find her redemption refreshing. If there is one character in that house who could become a better human being, it's her. Suraiyya will always be the bad guy and Shazia is a cheater and a glutton, who, even if she offers me Bill Gates' empire, Matt Lanter and the ability to fly, I shall never be able to see eye to eye with.

What do you guys think? Nafeesa forgivable or not?

I always felt bad for her and I always hoped her to see positive. Of course the sex of the baby depends on the father. They are not gawar to not have knowledge about it. 🥱 Pathetic excuse to marry someone else. Shazia would do anything for money and I guess she even married a married man just for his money and wanted her sister to get married with her brother in law. 🤢

I completely agree wid you..Even when she was doing all these things I couldn't completely hate her and wanted the CVs to show a redemption track for Nafeesa. :)

The part about Usman is wrong. He did interfere but Suraiya got them married anyway.
2 wrongs does not make a right. It was actually 90% her husband Fahad's fault.

I use to like fahad but now...NO
He is honestly spineless where it counts. I mean i like that his character is realistic because many men are actually like that, although ofcourse not all are.
What really is putting me off though is his inability to understand his younger brother. They are brothers for the sake of all, he should at least try and understand his brother, if he did he would eventually realise there is a lot that his brother is hiding from him. To top it all i don't get why Zain didn't just make it clear that aaliya wasn't the culprit. He could have done that without taking Nafeesa's name. At least that would make some members of the family understand, namely fahad. Although i think he would still have been put off by Zain's authority over him and envious of how he does business.
Nafeesa's redemption track is something i like very much. I think she might be the force which may show Fahad the right way. Also i have a feeling that ultimately it will be she, herself who will bring the truth out in front of the whole family.

I 100% agree with you. She's one character that I've felt for from the start, and I always thought she would be the first to befriend Aaliyah and change her ways.
The day they showed the flashback of what really happened to her, and her crying, I felt for her that day. I could completely understand her pain and why she wanted to ruin Surayya.

Out of both women Shazia and Nafeesa, she was the one I wanted to see changed. You're completely right, she was Surayya's first victim, and what Surayya did to her was completely unjust and uncalled for. She never even received any sympathy from anyone in that house. We saw Usman always sympathizing with Aaliyah in the house when she came, and yes maybe that has to do with the fact that she was his favorite niece, but we never saw anyone be there for Nafeesa. She was all alone when Fahad married Shazia and brought her home. Imagine what that must feel like. She couldn't even go to her parents because they were no longer alive, so who was there to speak for her, to defend her, to give her her right and justice. No one. Not even Usman.

Now I completely disagree with what she did though and how she went about things. I could understand her wanting to ruin Surayya, but that should have stayed between her and Surayya, ther was no need to involved and ruin others lives with that. Bottom line is it was wrong what she did, and what really confused/pissed me off even more was that they showed Nafeesa smirking when Aaliyah was being humiliated in front of everyone and Zain gave her the divorce. I totally did not get that part. I wonder at times if she never got caught, if she would ever have owned up or changed and we would have seen this redemption. She's a grey character, always has been, which makes it hard to hate her, but also love her.

I disagree and I condone what she did because she destroyed a life of an innocent girl and her own brother in law, who affectionately called her Ms. Universe. See if I let her first mistake which was the kitchen blast slide by..I would be wrong. Trying to harm someone is NOT the way to go. Now then if I ignore this and say it was for Shazia. The fact is Nafisa had no guilt in her while playing with Aliya, her parents, and Zain. Why would you use innocent people to get back at Surraiya?
Anyway so lets say she got her revenge ok. Surraiya went to Jail and got beat up. Her revenge was over. She is back to square one doing chamcha giri of Surraiya...and the one who is really getting punished is Aliya for no fault of hers.

Even then after attaining her revenge .. why did she not try to help Aliya in some way ... (ok she wanted to save herself) but she could have tried to talk to Zain .. but No! She smirked and was happy that aliya was being kicked out.. FOR WHAT?

I am sorry I dont feel one bit sorry for her.. and she is not the one that lost anything.. she still has her kids .. her family..

Lastly, the audacity that she had to ask Zain and Aliya to not reveal her truth... gosh makes my blood boil. Even today she is seeing Fahad and Zain breaking apart, I assume? Still she wont open her mouth..
What redemption is this?

Sorry I just cannot forgive her... especially what ZaYa are going through because of her. If she thinks Surraiya is cruel.. Nafisa did far worse...

I know I am really sensitive to this.. but I guess its my attachment with ZaYa that doesnt let me see this track as a redemption...
For me a true redemption would have been someone owning up to her mistaking. Accepting it infront of everyone, bearing their hatred.. still trying to rebuild her image.. that would have been a redemption.. not this hiding behind a mask ..

She feels the regret now cos zaya promised not to tell anyone about her misdeeds. Theres no other way she would have changed her behaviour. She was very happy when zain had decided he wants to divorce his wife. She had 3 months to stop the divorce but she didn't.
OK, whatever happened in her life was not good and that she was wronged with her husband having any affair and what not. It wasn't her fault she couldn't have another baby due to medical conditions and that shazia took advantage and got pregnant but no one is at more fault than Fahad cos he shouldn't have even been looking at another woman.

Usman mamoo had tried his best to stop Fahad marrying a second time but suri was adamant and so it had happened. He was not to blame, he didn't treat anyone bad. If he was here today, so much would have been different.

So if I had a choice, I wouldn't have forgiven Nafeesa. She feels the regret too late. Everything is over now.

Nafeesa's redemption comes across as fake.
It is ONLY bcz her truth is Out in front of ZaYa that she is travelling the remorse route. Otherwise she was snickering & smiling with Glee whilst Zain gave her 2nd talaq in office.

Divorce is the most hated in Islam & her being The sole reason fr an innocent couple's separation through no wrong doing of their own.

If she wants to REALLY Redeem herself she should own up to every thy she has done from the moment Aaliya became Zain wife in front of everyone. After that whatever guilt she displays may have an atom of sincere regret.

Her personal grudges with Suraiya hold no weight compared to the destruction she has unleashed in ZaYa life.

Neither do I condone Zain blindly accepting everything as Aaliya fault.
