Lovely post Mandy. Alia is dignity personified, she is not a money grabbing opportunistic person, she actually did the right thing by forgiving the Zain the Mehar... Her marriage was not based of money but love, so for her it held no place in her life... I would have liked to see a small segment on suri's and Zain's reaction on receiving those papers...

The unbearable moment for me was she told the lawyer that she was not Mrs Zain Abdullah but just Alia.. Not Alia Ghulum Haider either signifying how alone she had become in this cruel manipulative world where even her own kin had betrayed her... 😭

Who in this world can ask for forgiveness when they have ACTUALLY BEEN WRONGED?? Yet Alia true to her upbringing and her belief in God asked for forgiveness for anything she had done knowingly or un knowingly from her now x husband and at the same time attempted to remove his own guilts by forgiving him...

Even in her own pain and destruction she made Zain promise not to reveal Nafessa's truth simply because she could not bare the thought of her beloved Mamu's home being further destroyed by the shameless act of Tallaq. It is this promise that he goes onto honour and gives Nafessa the cold shoulder without I believe revealing to her that he knows the truth..

I do not believe that there will be a third angle with Rehaan as it has been shown that Zain and Rehaan are in contact with each other; Rehaan cannot see Alia in pain but likewise he cannot see Zain in pain as demonstrated by him giving Zain the recording despite Alia telling him not too. Therefore if Rehaan knew where Alia was, I believe he would tell Zain for sure.

Zain at his father's grave was very emotional and Zain will draw strength from from him to find Alia...
Both Pree and Harshad were outstanding in the episode, both conveyed their heartache and pain brilliantly.

On a side note Sanam's cameo must the shortest one seen on TV lol! A year past by and she was not seen anywhere near Zain!!🥳

After last nights episode I could only think about one dialouge of aaliya's which was said very early on the series. "Jab kabhi mein tumhe chod ke gayi toh Kuch leke nahi, apna sab Kuch deke jaaungi" and Aliya stood true to her words.. I am so proud of Aliya. I am very much looking forward to see how the story moves forward now. Cv's are doing an amazing job of still keeping the true essence of the characters.
P.s sorry for dropping in.. Couldn't resist. Oh and great post :)

Well said about Aaliya! Aaliya has once again shown Zain who she is at heart, she is not someone filled with malice or someone who would destroy his family for anything. Aaliya could have easily outed Nafeesa, she had nothing to lose but she is not like that. Aaliya would not get pleasure out of other people's misery especially when children are involved.

Yuvika, this is why I say Zain reuniting with Aaliya will not be so easy. Yes, Aaliya left forgiving him but that doesn't mean she is ready to welcome him back with open arms, not given what she has been through and the complications of it all. Zain has his work cut out for him before he is ever able to fulfill the vow he has made to Usman

Of the two, I always felt, Aaliya was the impulsive 1 while zain wasn't but in this divorce track, we saw zain being impulsive too...I guess it was necessary 2 show tht both at times can be impulsive. I totally understand where zain was coming from he believed aaliya was responsible the minute he saw her signatures...maybe he would have believed her innocence and heard her out but I feel he was just in shock of losing his dad and seeing his mom be beaten up by the police. I feel somewhere he is a bit of both, guilty and a victim... hard to put the full blame on him... its like he got hit from all corners and lost the ability to think and consider what his heart was saying.
Again I go back 2 the point I made earlier, ShaLam in the attempt to sort things out for their daughter end up ruining the one relationship which gave her the reason 2 live. I guess ZaYa had too many people surrounding them playing too many games against them and they just didn't realise...too worked up in other people's problems and solving their issues to even consider their own lives and problems.
as a character, I've always liked aaliya but at times I have disagreed with her approach which again is something which is so good about the character itself...she's not perfect and that's what makes her realistic and so real that a viewer can relate to her. I must say in this track one couldn't help but feel sorry for her...she not only was betrayed by her own parents, but lost her husband and her best friend-mamu...seems she's lost without her mamu.
many are hoping a makeover for aaliya after the leap, but for me the outer look hardly matters I want to see some changes in her personality...i'd like to see her for a change not believe everything at face value - she needs to realise not everyone is worth second chances but as per spoilers it seems this change won't be bought in becos she even believes the new entry is a positive man even though she's warned by rehan
