This is a very light hearted os for a heavy heart forum. Cheer up people. Jo hoga voh dekha jayega.
Mumbai mein zorro se barish ho rai hai. And this os is inspired by my amma and dadda, who are in the balcony right now, together.
Love you both. And happy reading folks.

"Aliya" he softly called out as he entered the room.
He was fully drenched even though he travels by car.
Mumbai. He sighed.
He switched on the bedside lamp.as there was almost total darkness in the room even when the window was open.
It was raining cats and dogs out and the pretty sky was grey with overcast clouds.
Lightning lashed through the sky, illuminating it a beautiful purple.
He was exhausted from the day's work.
And all he could think was a cup of chai to make that exhaustion go away.
"Aliya" he called again, loosening his tie.
No one was home at the moment. His dad and bhai were still at the office, his mom and Nafeesa bhabhi gone out for shoppingwwith the kids, chand khala and Allah Rakha had taken leave.
So it was just him and her.
"She must have returned from the office" he thought.
He checked his watch-it was 7.
"Aliya" he called out, raising his voice.
He peeled of his wet socks, result of wading in knee deep water, and threw them in the laundry basket.
"Point" he said as it flew right in.
"Zain?" Said a voice from the bathroom.
"Yeah, its me. Will it take you long? I need to shower."
There was a minute or two of silence.
And he heard the door click open.
His eyes widened as he took in the meaning and hurried in.
***(after an hour or so)
He fingered the rope of her bathrobe as she stood in front of the mirror, trying to dry her hair.
Keyword being trying.
It seemed like all his exhaustion flew out of the window when she opened that door.
"Zain,nai. Abhi abhi to-"
"Toh kya hua?" He said kissing her neck.
"I am sore Zain"
His expression turned guilty. "Sorry" he muttered against her hair.
She smiled and turned around.
"Its ok." And pecked his lips.
He wrapped his arm around her waist and rested her head on his chest.
"Chai banaogi?" He asked cutely.
She looked up. "Ok. Lemme change."
He nodded and started cleaning the sofa of the magazines and wet towel.
She changed into comfy grey tracks and a white tee. Her hair was wet and hung loosely around her head and her face was devoid of makeup.
Yet Zain found her iresistable.
He simply smiled at her, his eyes conveying what words couldn't.
She smiled back, her smile understanding.
"Chalo? Kitchen?" She asked.
"Kyun nai?" He said and took her hand and left.
He watched her work silently as he ate a banana.
"You look pretty today."
"Sirf aaj?"
"Har din"
"You are not getting any tonight Zain. Butter laga k fayda nai."
He looked affronted. "I don't just think of today. I am a future person. Aaj nai toh kal."
She laughed.
"Kitne badtameez ho tum."
"Sirf tumhare liye." He said, pecking her cheeks.
She carried the tea tray and he held a plate of pakoras with green chutney, munching on the same.
"Aliya, bahut acha bana hai." He said.
She just smiled.
She did that a lot. Smiling. Around him.
And she kept smiling as she settled between his legs and lent back, enjoying the warmth of his body.
They sipped their chai together, sometimes talking about an incident that happened that day or something they found funny, laughing with each other and at each other.
They shared their bouts of worry, her worrying about her promotion and him worrying about his presentation. They reassured each other.
The plate of pakoras was soon eaten and the cup of chai finished, and things were no ore left to share.
But still they enjoyed each others company, feeling strangely proud that they reached that stage in their relationship where words aren't needed.
And they revelled in silence of their companionship and secrets that will be formed tommorow, said today.
They looked at the stormy sky, feeling nothing but calm within, for they had each other.
"I love you Aliya" he said, kissing the side of her head.
"I love you too Zain." She said, snuggling back and making herself more comfortable as she closed her eyes and sighed.
"I love you too."
