Why just AB Jr, it applies to ALL star kids. And he did say Abhishek improved now.

It's true, but Abhi himself has admitted it so I don't think it matters. He realized after 9-10 back to back flop films that just being a Bachchan doesn't matter. You gotta work on it, I mean him in Sarkar, Yuva, Guru, Bluffmaster, KANK--all improvements. One of my favorite scene in that ridiculous movie KANK is when he gets angry and throws the table. I would have never imagined him to have grown so much as an actor. It's another thing he's not consistent, but he never gives up and keeps working hard.

I've noted that a lot of veteran actors Om Puri, Nasseruddin Shah seem to have a lot of bitterness towards the industry. I can see why, they were talented people who didn't get their fair share due to an industry obsessed with looks and glamor.

Anyway, truth said. Although, IMO Ab Jr did improve over time.
Mr. Bachchan forcibly made his son an actor. I
How did he do this? It was Abhishek's choice and Big B never did anything to make a movie for Abhishek unlike other star dads.

Also the headline is misleading. It's not a direct quote.

Abhishek's a talented guy. He's done some good films. He just had to find the right directors to tap that
