After one year and 11 months we bought back this AppreciationThread of the heartthrob dashing handsome Barun Sobti. 

Time to Enjoy ! 



Barun Sobti was born into a Punjabi family. He is from Delhi and completed his schooling and graduation there.  The actor got married to his childhood sweetheart on 12th December 2010, only getting one day off from shooting Baat Hamari Pakki Hai. A very low profile marriage, in the presence of a few close friends and relatives, it was a simple ritualistic ceremony held at a Gurudwara.When not working Barun likes to spend time with family, enjoys partying with friends, watching the Discovery Channel, sports, reality (Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao, Roadies, Bigg Boss) and comedy shows (Khichdi, Instant Khichdi), with his favourite TV channel being Sony. He has admitted that he would love to be a part of reality shows Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao and Fear Factor, and the funniest movies he's ever seen are Andaz Apna Apna and Don't Mess With The Zohan.Currently not active on any social networking sites

He has hosted the 2012 Star Parivaar Awards and performed in the Star Parivaar Live Concert 2012 in Birmingham, UK. Furthermore, he was named to the "20 Most Intriguing People of 2012" list by People Magazine India and was titled the 3rd Sexiest Asian Man in the Sexy List 2013 poll conducted by UK magazineEastern Eye. His first bollywood debut is Main Aur Mr.Right, yet to release. Sobti has signed to be in the film 22 yards.In March 2014 he has been filming for the John Abraham Production's Film, Satra Ko Shaadi Hai.


First debut of Barun Sobti in Tv started with Shraddha opposite Neha Janpandit air at Star Plus.  Swayam is a handsome young man, he is nice, caring and tough from within. He respects elders like his own parents and has seen a lot of tough times and undergone incredible trauma since the age of 5. As a child, he lived in a small village in Madhya Pradesh with his parents. When he was only 5, there was a flood in his village which wiped the village clean. After a few days, he was left at an orphanage from where he was later adopted by a Christian couple who could not conceive. All three now live quite happily and contentedly in Ujjain.


Barun Sobti did a cameo in Dil Mil Gaye few number of popular cast like Karan Singh Grover and Karan Wahi. Dr Yuvraj Singh Intern in Sanjeevani! Yuvraj is a grey shade who later on started to change. 



Barun Sobti started to work with Sony TV opposite Ankita Sharma in Baat Hamari Pakki Hai. Shravan is twenty-three year old who belong to a rich family of jewellers and is the youngest of three brothers...Shravan is spoilt, confused, and irresponsible. This callous attitude becomes a point of contention with his father, who Shravan is very scared of and has nicknamed Hitler... Shravan's family believes that marriage would make him responsible hence they take him around to see different girls. But Shravan keeps rejecting the girls left right and centre on some pre-text or the other which further infuriates his father. Shravan shares a strong bond with the older brother's wife - Nidhi bhabhi and he confides in her...



The serial which steal millions of hearts, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon air in Star Plus. Barun Sobti was cast oppisite Sanaya Irani which lead the show get a lot of viewer. One of the top 5 show of Star Plus. Arnav Singh Raizada is 28 year old self made, ruthless, win at all costs man. He believes everything can be bought in the world, including love. He has no consideration for relationships and can even manipulate people to achieve his ambitions until he meets his match in Khushi and while at first he does everything to bring her down and upset her, he soon after falls in love with her.
