Kumkum Bhagya Written Update for June 27th 2014
PS: I'm typing from phone.. please ignore any typo's. I'll tried my best to edit the one's I noticed (:
The episode begins with Dadi asking everyone to take a family photo, and Abhi informs that the photographer has left. They can take it some other time. Dadi insists, saying such occasions don't come often. She asks Tanu to take it using a mobile. Tanu agrees and asks Abhi to stand next to Pragya as they are husband and wife. Abhi is confused with her actions, but goes when Dadi insists. Tanu again asks him to put his hand around Pragya. After getting a snap, she asks Pragya to remove her glasses. Abhi removes it for her and another snap later, Tanu smirks, thinking as long as Abhi continues to hate Pragya, he'd remain his. Abhi on the other hand smirks thinking he got what he wanted. Pragya's family bids bye for the night.
Bulbul gets a message from Purab saying he wants to meet her and talk about Pragya. Bulbul gets angered as she think that is his way for getting her to talk to him. She refuses to reply, but then calls him and yells at him to stay away from Pragya and let her be happy, as she is happy with her marriage with Abhi and it happened with her acceptance only. She also tells him to never contact her again, even through the pretext of talking about Pragya. He tries to tell her that it cannot be a co-incidence that he saw her married with Abhi, but Bulbul refuses to pay any attention to his words.
Both are equally hurt after the phone call ends. Purab wonders how life can change so drastically, it was fine one moment and now, nothing is alright. Both of them remember the moments spent with each other.
Purvi comes and she pretends to sleep. Purvi asks her why she left suddenly and that Pragya was looking for her. Bulbul lies saying she had a headache so she came home, besides, she (Purvi) was enjoying so she didn't tell her. Purvi leaves to get changed and Bulbul thinks that after long time, Pragya's life has taken a turn for good and she is going to stay far away so Pragya can be happy.
Pragya takes out her jewelry, muttering about as Abhi comes in and tells her that he is going to leave and that it's a good thing she found out about him and Tanu. She tells him, the sooner he leaves, the better for her. Abhi taunts her, saying she must be eager to meet her lover, Purab. He berates her for betraying Purab so quickly, that he had left for few days and she already married his best friend. She remains silent and turns to leave, when he asks if she loves Purab. She looks at him and lies that she does. He continues to taunt her for being a gold-digger and wanting both Purab and his money. But he knew of her character and so he'll make sure she gets neither.
They continue to bicker back & forth, until Pragya tells him to leave as he can continue to yell at her in the morning as well, but if he doesn't go to meet Tanu, she might start getting suspicious; for thanks to him, she can't leave anywhere. [It's best this scene is watched.. It'll take a lot to type it all out from phone 😳 ]
Dadi is talking to a worker. Abhi comes down and he tells her that he needs to leave as his friends are asking for a party. Dadi tells him to cancel his plans and stay with Pragya, get to know her, talk to her, give her company. Abhi says he knows her too well. She says it take a life-time to sometimes get to know people. She pulls him back up the stairs and forces him to go in. He tells her he will go and waits for her to leave. He looks at the shut door and decides to head back out, only to turn around and face Dadi, who hadn't left knowing too well that Abhi wouldn't go in after she left. Abhi makes an excuse and asks for someone to fetch water.
He walks in and Pragya hastily pulls her stole around her shoulders. He smirks and takes off his shirt, with Pragya asking what he thinks he's doing. He walks towards her and stands right behind her, telling her to not be so naive as she knows exactly what he's doing. He pulls his pants off as well and she shuts her eyes and leaves. He tells her to not make any noise, else Dadi will send her in too like she sent him. She crashes into him, but manages to leave.
As soon as she steps outside, she sees Dadi. Weighing her options, she reluctantly walks back in with a hand over her eyes. Trying to grab the pillow, she touches him. He tells her to take it easy, she might have married a rockstar but she can't touch him. She scowls and says she only wants the pillow. He says it's his favorite pillow and can't sleep without it. She throws it back at him and grabs another one. He asks her to not throw it, else he'd do the same to her. She tells him she's going to sleep in the balcony and he tells her to make that a habit.
Pragya lays down and remembers Bulbul's questions about how her first night was and if Abhi was romantic. She get's disturbed by Abhi who starts sneezing, thinking it'd due to allergic reaction. Getting irritated, she gets up and tells him it's not a reaction, but cold. She goes to get him warm water and he yells at her to not touch his fridge and not give any lectures. She can save that for her classes. She tells him she's informing him, not lecturing, and a cold is bound to happen if he continues to eat unhealthy at weird times. She gives him a glass of warm water and tells him to drink it. He says she doesn't have to do this for him. She says she's doing it for herself, she can't sleep in peace till he stops sneezing. He promises her that he is going to snatch the peace and happiness out of her life now that he is in her life. He takes a sip and says it is just as her face, horrible. She tells him that he's going to have to see her face till he finishes drinking that. She asks him to put some clothes on, before he actually catches a nasty cold.
Going back out to the balcony, she remembers the day when Bulbul asked her what she'd do when her husband gets home. She had said she'd make him tea and they'll drink it together. If he's having a headache, she'd give him a light massage. She'll make him whatever he likes for dinner. She doesn't expect anything more, but find happiness in simply things. A simple life and simple life-partner. Then, she is remembered of what actually turned out to be in reality. [Dil jude bina hi tut gaye plays in the background] She feels hurt with all the hurtful things Abhi has said to her and done. She wonders where she'll find happiness in the small things she had hoped for. Her husband hates her for a mistake she hasn't even committed.
Precap: Pragya informs her mother that they mat not be able to come to pak-phera since Abhi is busy. Her mother is worried as the relatives are going to come for the ceremony.
