Prajakta learning bharatnatyam since the age of 7, She got distinction in all the exams of Dance-bharatnatyam from Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya including "Visharad". Shw had completed her graduation and masters from Lalit Kala Kendra of Pune University, and She was the university topper.
