I personally think he should have completed the tour before moving on. I mean fans have their tickets and I'm sure plenty of them wanted to see him on stage. But I guess he knows his situation best.

It happens with all boy bands...they eventually grow up expand into other directions, and this was inevitable with 1D too.

I hope if he is seriously looking into a solo career he does well, and maintains good relationships with Simon and the rest of the 1D boys.
