Favorite dialogues/scenes? - Page 52

Issued two news books from library today "mere khwab mere jugnoo" By Nimra & Imaan Umeed aur Mohabbat by Umera. I'm going to spam this thread now 😆

Ive read iman umeed aur mohabbat! It was amazing!

Okay I read Mere Khwab Mere Jugnu.. and It was just Okay-ish. The story and the characters were very unreal. aur perh k pata chal raha tha k Its from Nimra's initial work.
A couple of lines that I liked from the book are:

Khwab toh woh hotay hain jin se khushi aur umeedein wabasta hoti hain.. Khwab jagti ankhon se dekhi gyi un khushyon ka naam hai jo haqeeqat mein nahi hoti.. Khwab toh umeed hotay hain achay mustaqbil ki, achi zindagi ki, achay waqt ki. Khwab mohabbat se abarat hotay hain. meri mohabbat mujhse door chali gayi thi so mera khwab, khwab nahi duty bann kr reh gya tha.


Hum zindagi mein do logon ko kabhi bhula nahi sakta. Ek woh jin ko hum yaad kartay hain aur ek woh jin ko hum bhulana chahte hain

finished it one day.. It was amazing.

Usman, I finished Imaan Umeed aur Mohabbat in a day too..a few hours maybe..how'd you like it?

Yep I finished in few hours too.. poori do shifts mein khatam kar dea.. few hours y'day and few hours today. 😆

I really liked it. Umera kept it short and sweet. Nowhere in the entire novel i thought it dragged or things are exaggerated. There were limited characters and limited twists thats why I really liked it.

I never read the last few pages though 🤣
