PART 1
Ishita left her clininc at 4pm, informing her colleague that she is leaving early as she needs to go to repair her mobile. Ishita reaches the mobile store. "Bhaiya, jo manual mein likha tha usse bhi missed call wali problem sahi nahi ho rahi hai, aap phir se dekh lijiye..." says Ishita. Madamji aapko wait karna padega...main kar deta hoon ek ghante mein..." Ishita waits and thinks how she found Simmi's number here and Mrs. Bhalla disapproved her observation. So she asked the vendor, "Achha aapke register mein do din pehle jahaan maine entry kiya tha, kya main woh dekh sakti hoon", "Haan ji...yeh lijiye..." Ishita points to Simmi's number and asks the vendor, 'umm kya aap inka address bata sakte hain...actually meri puraani friend hai...maine iss number pe try kiya par uska phone band aa raha hai... " "Actually madamji unhone toh naya sim liya hai...address hoga na sim ke form mein..." Ishita gets the address. "Thank you bhaiyya...achcha aap mera mobile banake rakhiye ...main aati hoon" Ishita leaves the store...
Ishita searches for the locality and finally reaches at the given address. She finds it a dingy accommodation. She goes up the stairs until she reaches the required flat number. She could hear two people quarrelling...as she was about to ring the door bell...when a man came out and went away angrily without noticing her. Ishita saw Simmi inside and was standing at the door for an explanation...Simmi was shocked to see her and at once blasted, " Ishita tu yahaan, tu samajhti kya hai apne aap ko, dentist hai ya detective, mummiji sahi kehti hai, yeh ladki jitni bholi dikhti hai chere se, utni hi chant hai dimag se..." "Lekin simmidi aapne sabse jhoot kyun bola..?" "Dekh tu mere life mein interfere karne wali hoti kaun hai...humare parivaar ki mushkilein sabke saamne lake dikhana chahti hai hai hum tum logo se kamzor hai..." "Aise nahi hai...koi problem hai toh aap bataiye...main kuch..." Just then the baby starts crying, both rush to her, Simmi tries to pacify her but she keeps crying, Ishita touches her body and says," Simmi di isko toh bohot high temperature hai, body itna zyaada garam hona normal nahi...i think hume ise hospital leke jana chahiye" advices Ishita. "Tujhe toh bas har baat mein hospital jaana hai, mujhe apni bacchii palni aati hai, tere madad ki koi zaroorat nahi"says Simmi angry yet tensed for her baby. Ishita ignores her words and forcefully takes simmi and her baby to the hospital. Simmi did not protest as the baby was crying for long. Meanwhile the mobile repair vendor closed his shop as it was past 8 and left Ishita's mobile switched off in the shop.
PART 2
In the hospital, doctor to simmi, "Kitne dino se fever thi baby ko?" "2-3 dino se thi", "aapne doctor ko dikhaya tha, koi davayi di thi?" "Nahi ji bas sponge kiya tha", "aap itne careless kaise ho sakte hai, itne chote bachche ke liye fever brain pe asar daalta hai, fortunately aapne ise sahi samay mein le aaya nahi toh iski jaan bhi jaa sakti thi! Abhi aap ye davaiyan leke aaiye" . Simmi rushes to the chemist, Ishita follows her, eventhough Simmi felt guilty she tried to be stern with ishita as everthing came out so suddenly , like she never expected, "Dekh tujhe zyaada mahaan banne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai, main manage kar loongi. She bought the medicines. Ishita knew it was getting late but she couldn't really convey her position to anyone. She did not wish to leave Simmi in such a position. The doctor then handed Simmi the bill for the treatment, nervously, she called her husband but got negative answer. Ishita could sense something fishy and tried to talk to simmi. Finally she broke down. Ishita paid for her, and sympathised her, she told her the truth...
Meanwhile in the bhalla house, Ruhi is crying as her Ishima has not yet returned home. Raman returns and becomes tensed. He remembers they fought in the clinic over mihir and mihika. Raman goes to the Iyers but in vain. Her phone is switched off, so he calls her clinic only to find that she had left the clinic in the afternoon. This makes him extremely worried. He thinks to himself, "How could this Jhansi ki Rani be so careless!". He makes Ruhi sleep and then with Romi starts off to search for her.
Ishita and simmi are glad to know that baby is fine and would be discharged soon. Simmi requests ishita not to tell the truth to anyone as it would cause tensions and especially not to tell anything to Raman as he was already against her marriage and if he comes to know about this he will not spare her husband. Ishita also wonders how Raman's views are on marriages. So she agrees. The baby is discharged and Ishita starts off to drop them home.
Here Raman was worried, annoyed, tensed all at the same
time. He did not want to cause tension to Mr. Iyer. But he was feeling helpless as he knew nothing
about her friends and colleagues. So he called Mihir to get Mihika's number. He
told Mihika to ask Ishita's friends if they knew where she is. They found
nothing and returned home without any clue. Raman was about to call the police
when Ishita entered the house.
PART 3
Raman at once shouts at her,"Kahaan thi tum, yeh koi waqt hota hai ghar aane ka, mobile kyun bandh hai tumhara, pata hai Ruhi kitna ro rahi thi,tumhare amma appa kitna chinta kar rhe the..."; Everyone looked at her for an answer. Ishita knew she did not have any answer but now she had to keep herself composed and not let anyone doubt the real cause of her delay. She walked inside unaffected, and said" Aap log mujhe please akela chod dijiye , i need some time ", Ishita was like *tch tch* from inside when she said this and just walked into her room. Everyone was shocked. Mrs Bhalla started, "Wah aur kinna tame chahiye isko...", Mr. Bhalla told everyone to go sleep. Raman is surprised to see this avatar of Ishita. He enters their room. She had already changed and was about to sleep. Raman again asked her, this time in a softer tone," Kahan thi itne der tak", Ishita coldly replied, "Har baat tumhe batana zaroori nahi hai". Raman lost his cool, "Ek mahina huwa nahi ki tum bhool gayi ki tum Ruhi ki maa ho! Kitna ro rahi thi woh tumhare liye, bada maa banne ka shauk hai, aaj dikh raha hai apne liye, apne bacchii ko bhool gayi tum!". Ishita did not retort as she felt bad for Ruhi and slept without saying anymore.
Next morning, while Ishita was dressing up Ruhi," Ishima, aap kahaan the kal, mujhe bohot darr lag raha tha", Ishita felt sad and said" Kuch kaam aa gaya tha...urgent wala...mumma is sorry, abse aisa nahi hoga...Ruhi promise...".They hug each other. Raman taunts from behind, "Wohi promise karo , jo nibha pao!". Both glare at each other. Ruhi finishes her breakfast and Ishita is about to go to drop her when Mrs. Bhalla stops her and asks Nilu(the domestic help), to drop her to the bus stop. Ruhi leaves. Mrs. Bhalla scolds Ishita, "Oye, tu karna kya chahti hai, pehli mere bacho ki galti nikalte thakti nahi aur ab khud galti karke , bahane bana rahi hai. "Ishita thinks to herself," Kya karoon mummiji aapko batane ki koshish ki thi par aap toh, and this Raman , yeh to kabhi nahin samjhega..", Mrs. Bhalla continues,"Dekh tu iss ghar mein Ruhi ki maa banke aayi hai. Agar tu uske liye achi maa nahi bani toh mujhse bura koi nahi, samjhi tu..."Mr. Bhalla interrupts her, "bus kijiye, pareshaan hai bachi, aap aur daant rahi hai". Ishita feels bad and is about to leave. Mr. Bhalla asks her to have breakfast, she says" Nahi papaji bhook nahi hai". Raman observes this.
That evening, Ishita was prepping for dinner in the kitchen area. Raman returned from office and looked at her. Just then her phone rang and she went to the balcony to receive it. Raman quietly overheard her conversation,"...hmm I understand, actually aapka filling nikal gaya hai, rough brushing ke karan aisa hota hai, aap semisolids hi consume kijiye, roti and all avoid kijiye, ho sake toh ice cream khaiye, usse pain kam hoga and...", Raman thinks to himself,"Jhansi ki Rani toh daanto mein hi khoyi hui hai, phir kal kya huwa hoga, kyun nahi bataya...". Ishita finishes her call and turns back , she finds Raman overhearing her. She is annoyed.
