Episode ~205

3rd November 2010

Kala's den

Sudarshan comments on Kala's plan to frame Ganpat, Kala Tai whenever we execute your plan it blows in our face! now I did exactly as you asked, blew the cctv connection outside Babi's room; stole the jewellery, framed the drunkard Ganpat; but what did we achieve? Dutta Bhau ,and Aye Sahib are still blind folded and are all for Naku and her family; they respect her and still want her to be their DIL. Leela joins her husband, yes Tai once again your game plan has failed badly! Kala mocks them , you can't differentiate between good and evil? how do you expect to fathom me? did you honestly think I did all this to lower Nakusha in people's eyes? actually no! ..but this I knew that Babi and Nakusha are harbouring some secret! and that only Ganpat can squeal about, for surely he is Nakusha's weakest link! ok, today I was unable to do that.. but what he said certainly confirmed my doubts, so now Ganpat shall be my weapon , he shall cough up all the secrets in that family!

Ganpat in local bar

Ganpat sits immersed in cheap drink.. Dutta's words wind him up, it's your family that doesn't trust you, look how embarrassed they are.. Babi blaming him for stealing from his own daughter, you cheap skate pinning the blame on me, the SIL of this house! don't be your daughter's enemy, get out and don't you dare return till you don't find the jewellery and confess your crime!

Ganpat drinks up and curses his bad luck! for the first time tried to make a fresh start! thought my daughter is getting married, wanted to see her happy; thought my daughter suffered a lot at the hands of the malmal Morey.. now her life is free from pain and tension! now she will get married to Dutta Bhau! I thought wholeheartedly I will get involved in her wedding.. but I am a no good ! no body! worthless! but still I thought I'll buy a sari for Naku with my hard earned money.. will buy her jewellery, will buy a suit for my SIL Dutta Bhau but no! my wife spoilt everything by accusing me of stealing the jewellery, now I have been kicked out of that house! there my daughter will marry Bhau , and both mother and daughter will live a life of luxury while I sit her drinking myself to death! and probably end up dead in some gutter! for getting punished for something that I haven't done. Ganpat gets hold of his glass and says, you'd better hear this Babi! if I have to go through this punishment! then I too will be telling Naku's dark secret to Dutta Bhau! I'll tell him everything! won't let any one off! he warns ,wipes his mouth and gets up and leaves..

Behind him sat Kala's informer who phones her and tells her , Ganpat's is on his way home. Kala smiles like a snake! And compliments herself, one who can't get good or bad ? how can't they get Kalavati!

Ganpat & Kala Sahib

Ganpat comes home dead drunk talks gibberish!..and demands to see Dutta Bhau! he climbs up the main stair case and heads for some room ,that he assumes is Dutta Bhau's..he can see the back of Dutta's rocking chair rocking back and forth.. beside him on the table lay Dutta's gun.Ganpat swaggers forward to the back of the chair and says, Bhau..sees his gun and smiles nervously, looks around and whispers, Bhau I know you are irate with me.. but I've come to make one last request, Bhau don't shoot me! Bhau today I have fallen from your eyes! but still I will encounter you ,to tell you something Bhau!.. the chair rocks before him in silence.. Bhau you are godfather! you are generous! but one last thing I say to you, I worked in your vineyard , after I joined your sales increased! but today Ganpat has become a thief! you turned me out of the house! Bhau those on whose behest you turned me out of the house! and called me at thief! both of them are mother and daughter.. Babi and Naku! they both are liars of the first degree! don't go by their innocent faces ,Bhau! I've know her since the past twenty years! she is dangerously clever! Bhau..the chair rocks..

Babi comes into the vicinity.. Ganpat says, they are hiding a big truth from you!.. Babi over hears him!.. Bhau if you hear that truth , your mansion will shake! bhau in this whole wide world ,it is I who knows that truth! and the other one who knows the truth is that scoundrel inspector Morey!the same guy you had an encounter with when you met us! I knew then you are a great man!told her to tell you the truth but she said no! such s cheap woman ,calling me a a thief! bhau if you find the truth, you will never marry Naku! and after finding out the reality.. you will never want to see Naku's face again! you will hate her through and through! you'll say to me that Ganpat you are god! and nakusha and Babi both devils!

The camera turns and it's Kala Sahib in Dutta's rocking chair!

Babi races up the main stair case.. Ganpat, continues, this Babi, does to nakusha..wait Bhau don't shoot.. I am saying the next bit.. Kala waits breathless.. don't shoot Bhau I am trying to recall! No bullet.. bullet. I am telling... and Ganpat drops inebriated on the rug completely out cold!

Desperate Kala kneels on the floor and stir him, Ganpat! Ganpat! Ganpat!.. she gives up. Babi arrives at the door..finds Ganpat on the floor, Kala beside him..babi says, Tai you.. if Bhau finds Ganpat here? hey get up! she shakes him.. Kala towers over then and sneers, so what if he sees him? your truth will come forward.. Babi looks up in horror, wondering if he has said anything?how much has he revealed.. Kala snides, Bhau will find out who is real enemies are? what are you afraid of,that your mask of innocence will be pulled off? if Ganpat reveals the truth? what is it that you are hiding? let's say Ganpat has told me the complete truth! shall I take you two to Bhau? Kala plays devil's advocate.. Ganpat stirs, hey Bhau give me a hand!can a get a small one? i' ll tell you the truth! just don't shoot me! Kala looks at this creature on the floor and says, the one we thought was a liar, came here to tell the truth! that's why you and your daughter wanted him to be kicked out ,isn't it mausi? Babi refutes, really Tai , how can believe what this drunkard says? he'll even sell his wife for booze! that's the kind of man he is? what truth can he say about me? do you know the truth then? says Babi mockingly.. Kala replies, why are you acting smart with me? why don't you tell me what ever you are hiding? Babi says ,I swear by god, I am not hiding anything! what can I say, when I don't know myself what you are getting at? Kala at the end of her tether says, all I am asking is that why did you and your daughter come to this house? Babi replies Tai Saab saved our lives! then Naku fell in love with him, and now he with her! you have granted us our life , I am eternally grateful for that! Kala yells, mausi what will you achieve by all this drama you are carrying on? one day the truth is bound to come out! today Ganpat nearly blurted it ,but for how long can the truth be hidden? Babi says, I swear by Bappa that if speaking the truth will benefit this house, then surely I will say it! Kala grinds her teeth and goes off in a huff!

Babi looks at her husband and helps him to get up on his feet and takes him out of Bhau's room..

Naku lights the lamp stand before Bappa.. Dutta comes down his wooden stairs ,spots her standing mutely lost in thought beside Bappa.. he walks to her. and asks her, what thoughts are you lost in? she looks into his tender eyes and he says, Kala Tai is right, you felt it that I have punished your father..Naku looks down and then says, no Saab, I know you had deceit...and after thought says, sometimes it's best one doesn't know the whole truth.. Naku looks up into face.. episode ends, Hamlet53~ 10.6.14

I think the episode belonged to Ganpat and Babi.. Kala although thinks she is over clever and bullying Babi and trapping Ganpat in her spun web ,will give her the answers she is looking for against tasha..

Ganpat in his drunken drawl gives her a convoluted tale..all but the truth she wants to hear!

Babi makes Kala look like a fool as she tells her she is not quite sure what Kala wants to know..

However Kala has made it clear to Babi.. that watch your back!

Sudarshan in the beginning of episode confirms what we suspected .. that he carried out the theft.. dancing to Kala's tunes..

i think this was an usual episode.. no nonsense just kala's conspiracy..dutta looked very nice in the last scene.. both will continue the scene in the wu,thanks for the comment and the shots much love and many thanks hammie

Tasha support

Dutta and Naku near Bappa's statue continues talking.. Dutta admits, Kala Tai was right , you're probably hurt I punished your father.. Naku understands and tells him, I know Saab how you despise deceit.. Dutta reflects aloud, sometimes it's better when one doesn't know the whole truth..like how did you feel when you found out that your own father stole from the house? Dutta has a FB of his own father, selling him at the gambling stakes! If your own father turns out to be useless then what can one do? one can't flee from it.. jewellery? that can be replaced, but what of the love and trust that is betrayed.. says Dutta shaking his head..rather a lovely inclusion as Dutta compares his father betraying him with the loss of jewellery that is bothering Naku to no end.. he tells her jewellery can be bought, but that he understands that she is hurt by her father's deed.. Naku confesses, I told my mother , babba cannot do such a low act, but nevertheless she is embarrassed by the theft.she lets Dutta know that she still has faith in her father.. despite implications that he is a thief. Dutta nods and says, he understands, but this shame, this humiliation, this embarrassment, is all due to our fathers.. but very soon all this will be left behind, I am free of Damoder Patil, may be one day your father too will have the realization, that what he doing is wrong! maybe not giving his daughter away ,may hurt him into changing? consoles Dutta and both look at each other somewhat supported by each other.

Tasha mirror scene

All patil family is gathered in the lounge looking at a selection of special occasion garments. Aye Sahib is excited, that two special occasions Diwali and Dutta's wedding are celebrated in PN.. the focus is on selecting a sherwani for Dutta! Madhu is over excited and choses for her brother. Dutta sits silently and lets the ladies get on with it. The evil trio too half heartedly join in.. Aye Sahib encourages Madhu to interact with Dutta but he gives off unfriendly signals. Leela and Roops sneer , as Madhu gets the cold shoulder from Dutta.. Aye Sahib says, what do you think of the sherwani Madhu has selected for you? Dutta gives his mother a blank look, then she gives up and shows him another sherwani , which she suggests he could wear for Diwali.. Dutta is lost in thought.. Roops calls out, Bhau you need to also buy your wedding clothes today! he nods then stands up, choses the turquoise sherwani that his mother chose for him.. then he moves his head, looking for Naku and finds her pottering about near the dining table ..then cleverly he holds the sherwani before him and standing before the long portable trying on mirror adjusts it so he can see Naku at the dining table in the reflection! he waits for her to turn her head and he holds the garment on the hanger across his chest..and jerks his head up at her in the reflection ..she shakes her head..so he sighs and says, Aye Sahib, I don't like this one's collar.. Aye has noticed what he was up to.. she teases him.. with his marriage fixed he has changed completely! Leela teases too, Bhau since when have you started noticing collars? Roops passes him another one to check out.. Dutta holds it against him , and Kishore adds, Aye Sahib, this is all the magic of someone's love! and she agrees...Dutta turns and gives all who tease him a look. Kishore too gives him one to see and he holds it against the long fitting mirror and then raises his eyebrows towards Naku in the reflection, asking her ,how about this one? she shakes her head and he lowers his eyes, Aye says, what's the matter this one's collars have a problem too? he feebly shakes his head while all smile at his moves.. then Aye says, show me that blue one! Dutta holds the royal blue sherwani against him and Naku sides her eyes to see .. Dutta pulls his mouth on one side and lowers his eyes with a question nod..and Naku gives him a big cheek to cheek smile! Dutta looks in the reflection and says, Aye... and his mother says, yes this one is good, isn't it? shall we see whose chosen it? and they all turn to Naku who starts to look busy at the dining table! Aye calls, Naku! come here..now you tell us which garment should I select for my son?

Babi standing there looks very worried and wants Baji's attention. He notices her, and goes to hear her out. Aye Sahib says, all leave now and get ready for Diwali..lots of guests will be here, including Dutta's close friends.

Babi & Baji

Babi finds a quiet spot. Baji arrives, what is mausi why are you so stressed? Babi tells him Ganpat came.. completely drunk, he wanted to tell Bhau the whole truth about Naku, about me ! Baji too gets worried, what? Babi continues, he didn't get to Bhau, but he told Kala Tai bits of the truth!by Bappa's grace he was not able to cough up the whole truth! but he has left doubt in Kala Tai's mind that me and Naku are hiding something from Bhau! now Kala Tai's eye is upon me! she tried her level best to get the truth out of me! but Bappa saved me! Baji Bhau, now Kala Tai will try her utmost to get the secret out of me! she wants to expose me and Naku before Bhau as cheats! she will leave no leaf unturned to stop this marriage from happening! Baji who is shocked, still says to Babi , hey mausi only speak good things! let Kala Tai do what she wants! let's do one thing, lets go and tell Bhau the whole truth! before someone else goes and bends Bhau's ears about this reality! lets go tell him the truth! what do you say? Babi not entirely convinced says, yess, I too was thinking the same..when Naku meets me on her own , then I'll surely talk to her, but till then, please stop Kala Tai from doing anything! begs Babi! Baji replies, I'll try, but you keep Ganpat under control! there's no trusting that man!..and Baji leaves while Babi stands alone laden with her problems..

Kala's room

Kala recalls Ganpat's words they have kept a big truth from you..bhau.. she recalls Ganpat said it was enough to shake Bhau..which is what she wants Dutta without peace in his life..

Baji arrives at her door..knocks. she is pleasantly surprised how come? this is most unusual.. really Tai? he says and asks before he sits on her settee, Baji says, Tai I feel that before anything gets straight in Bhau's life! it goes crooked! Kala smiles, why this time what crookedness do you fear? Baji replies, no I am not afraid this time, because this time Naku is with Bhau and only good happens with good people.. yes it's true she is a bit ill fated! So she needs our support! Kala thinks , hummm, did you realize about her bad luck today? he says, her jewellery got stolen before her wedding isher bad luck! and even bigger than this is the person who stole her jewellery happens to be her father! Kala Tai! did you hear the way he was talking yesterday, all the tittle tattle, I tell you that man cannot be trusted in what ever he says! Kala pretends to think hard and then asks him, tell me one thing Baji! have you come on your own accord?or has someone sent you here on their behalf? Baji is embarrassed.. and Kala carries on, look Baji ,whether it you or Ganpat, if I ask someone questions, there is only one reason for that! because I too ,like your self don't wish that some crooked should happen with Bhau! Baji goes, looks like you have taken in the wrong way! she comes forward smiling like a snake toward's him, oh not at all Baji! you are Dutta's life, a son of this household! even if you take me to court too, I will not crease my brow! Yes? she nods and he nods back, fine! and leaves her room..

Kala smiles silently.. but then stops him, Baji like you trust me, I too trust .. that you will not become party to someone else's conspiracy! isnt that right? and Baji says, yes Kala Tai! so Kala has warned Baji too that she knows something is cooking, and if he is party to it , then god help Baji.. as Kala can create trouble for Baji too..

She mutters, you are a snake in the grass Baji! when Bhau finds out his heart will break ,she says with great content.

Puja

Dutta and Naku sit side by side for the puja as the pandit chants the mantras. The evil trio roll their eyes at the sight of the couple. The pandit performs the rituals. Dutta gives Naku a sided look, Naku shyly lowers her eyes.. Aye beams with joy.. the evil trio especially Roops notices Baji checking Madhu. Dutta as instructed performs the rituals.

Outhouse

Ganpat still inebriated , calls out , Bhau! you have to trust me! Babi turns to look at him.. I'll tell you the truth! i'll tell you who is the real thief! who is your real enemy.. Babi.. Babi is your real enemy! hey Bhau! he shouts and begins to get up from his bed. he swaggers, I'll tell him! hey what am I doing here? I was in Bhau's room? you brought me here? he points to Babi.. I will , he picks up his slipper ,ready to strike her! she begs don't go Ganpat!why are you destroying my daughter's life? he says , whoever calls me a thief! is not my wife! not at all! move out of my way and let me go! she tries to stop him from leaving and while striking her he falls back drunk on his bed..

Babi locks him in the room.. Kala is spying and she sees Babi lock Ganpat.. episode ends.. Hamlet53, 11.6.14

Episode has another famous Dutta Naku scene.. where in silence... mutely they convey their likes, dislikes, and common agreement.. the mirror is a valuable prop..

Babi , Baji conversation is great in so much that Baji is supportive..but once again Babi seems to be proved a lair... as Baji did give her an option of telling Bhau the truth.. but Babi keeps dithering and palming it on to Naku.. Babi does not trust dutta ..

Baji and Kala scene is Kala trying to trap the supportive forces in the house.. in fact now she has Baji on her radar now!its a matter of time now where she will ensure Dutta's close confidant Baji falls from Dutta Bhau's.
