heyyy loved this first shot of Naku doing the sprint. the rest of pics superrr .. dutta bhau from now on rolling down the hill.. and all his foes going to the top of the summit.. sad but this the reality of life.. portrayed in LTL... Baji yells! Heyyy! Janardhan turns to look at the caller, so does Dutta, and all his family.. Dutta surrounded by men and guns pointed at him, slowly.. turns his head and his eyes behold..that Baji has arrived..!
hey! Dutta's spoon don't move from your place! Anna has ordered us to bring Dutta alive but if you move, then this bullet will end up in Dutta's head!have you forgotten I am Janardhan ! he threatens and Baji recalls.. didn't you recognize me? and Baji understands this nerd is no pandit! but Anna's henchman. Naku begs, Baji .. but Baji orders him , put your gun down! scoundrel! if any thing happens to Bhau you're dead!. Janardhan scoffs , Bhau I thought your pet dog would be alert! he'll recognize me!but he turned out to be a mouse! Dutta lowers his eyes as he tolerates insults towards Baji's. Dutta's BG ,Ganpat and Dutta's family watches in despair as Dutta is held at gun point. Baji , gun still pointed at Janardhan yells, oye don't you forget this is our territory not Anna's! anything happens to Bhau ,you'll not return alive , so put your gun down! yells Baji. Janardhan sneers, oh I'll return alive alright!till my gun is on Bhau's head! who'll touch me huh?hey shortie! put your weapons down! he shouts at Baji! listen all of Dutta Patil's gang put down your weapons! he orders. hurryup! now!. Dutta's family looks on interror. Naku helplessly says,Baji.. Janardhan sees that Dutta's men have not lowered their guns , so he cocks the trigger at Dutta ,ready to press. Baji gives up and raises his arm to his men for surrender. Ganpat folds his flick knife.. holds it in his palm and glares at Janardhan . All, of Dutta's gang bend their knees to place their weapons on the ground. Janardhan smiles victoriously. Dutta's family watches helplessly and Dutta himself has a blank look on his face,with his eyes on Janardhan. Janardhan , jeers,I heard a lot about you Bhau, that none can touch you!!now take a good look! I am kidnapping you from your own territory !you have made my life Bhau! I will now replace Mani Anna! I am going to be the right hand of Anna!haaa ha yeah! he laughs , as Dutta's eyes give him an amused look... then suddenly Dutta's face breaks into a wide cheek to cheek smile.. and he rolls his eyes ..probably the only such smile in LTL..a complete advertisement for toothpaste. His face becomes grim again and he asks with gravity ,so Anna told you to bring Dutta alive, do you know why? because he knows dogs don't hunt a lion ! now even I am dying to meet Anna , retorts Dutta ..lets go! Janardhan says, so you still don't accept your defeat? come on then! dares Janhardhan. Dutta turns docile and calm in the circle of guns aimed at his head. He walks slowly toward's the exit of the place of worship. All his family watches. He walks like a prisoner surrounded by Anna's gunmen.. Naku watches helplessly as he walks past her, she watches, then runs after him in tears. Aye Sahib cries, and Kala stands looking hopeless.Dutta comes down the red carpeted steps. Baji yells bitterly, don't leave me alive, you'll regret it! hey! janhardhan replies, if you block our way! you'll see Bhau's end and regret the scene all your life! Dutta glares at Baji..and Naku puts her finger on her mouth telling Baji to be quiet. Baji shuts up. Dutta growls at Baji , after every thing has happened, now what are you planning to do? and he gives Baji visual messages. Baji looks at his Bhau intently. Janahardhan cocks his face as Baji gets told off.. Dutta glares straight into Baji's eyes, and briskly lowers his eyes to the ground.. and points his finger down as a sign for Baji to follow.. Baji's eyes fall on the floor and sees Ganpat's flick knife. Dutta roars, you should have thought before of some solution! and reiterates the sight of the knife on the floor and Baji gets the idea.. Dutta opens his palm by hanging close by his leg and then closes it.. givingBaji the sign, get the ! Baji nods, as Dutta continues, before my family Anna's men are kidnapping me, where is your smartness? Baji acts on, Bhau pardon me.. how would I know that Anna would do this! I don't have six pair of eyes! he gives the impression of being loggerheads with his Bhau. Dutta shifts his head and looks at Janardhan and his men from the corner of his eye! Dutta acts on tells his BGs off , all of you idiots walk around with guns in your hands! go wear bangles instead! Janardhan goes, ohh these men..and Dutta snubs him loudly heyyy! And then continues with his mock play of telling Baji off! Janardhan is right! you are a rat! creeping around everywhere ! and one knows! Dutta moves his hand around, points his thumb to the ground and then clenches his fist and bows his head flashes an order to Baji with his eyes.. Baji thinks of his Bhau's visual texting. Baji too carries on with his mock arguing.. really Bhau we put our lives in danger for you! so we can hear you put us down! you have gone mad Bhau! don't want to work with you anymore! acts Baji and Aye Sahib looks upset as she can't understand that Baji and Dutta squabble to divert the attention of Anna's men.. giving them a false sense of security.. Janardhan falls for their play acting and pokes fun at Dutta, see Bhau this is your army! and him Baji your chief of command ! move Bhau! move on now! and under the shadow of guns Dutta moves on heavily guarded! Then he suddenly turns and Naku calls out Baji! she probably means, do something !she's shocked by his words too.. Dutta walks past her and as soon as he turns the corner surrounded by his captors.. Baji watches Dutta's palm as a signal now! Baji taps up the knife with the tip of his shoe and catches it in his palm.. Ganpat sees the action and Baji says quiet! then quickly before Bhau is taken any further, shouts close enough for Dutta to hear, all this has happened du to this girl! Dutta's ears are on red alert, and he gives a sided look as Baji stands close to Naku , every since you got married to Dutta! he is completely broken down shouts Baji . Dutta's eyes takes in Baji close to Naku.. Baji lowers his head and yells , all because of you , if you open your mouth I'll bury you alive right here!Naku is dumb founded, as Baji has given her something..Dutta glares backwards at her and she pleads with her eyes. He turns his head forward and looks ahead, his head marked by gun men.Janardhan orders, collect all the guns belonging to Dutta's men! collection of weaponry takes place. Dutta is then escorted towards the long descent of the mandir steps. Baji and Naku watch but Naku goes ahead of Baji crying for her Saab. Dutta 's family watches in horror from the puja area. Baji leads them hurriedly and they too march behind him. Dutta descends the steps one by one bare feet.. followed by the gangsters and Naku trails behind too. The gangsters stop at the first flight of steps. One of them shouts stop there all of you! none of you will come down!
Once down Dutta is turned and led to a black van with guns aimed at him. His family and Baji watch from above. Naku stops at the bottom by the flower stall. Dutta opens the front passenger seat door ready to sit inside under gun point. Janardhan watches. Dutta holds the car door.. and muses.. Baji waits, Aye Sahib prays , Ganpat watches, and Naku weeps from far. Dutta slams the door shut! this worries Janardhan .. Dutta amid a circle of guns pointed at him Dutta turned slowly and calls out Naku! Baji looks confused. She looks at him sad, helpless ,but ready to lay down her life for him .. with a serious face Dutta moves toward's her.. Janardhan blocks him, hey! Dutta retorts, you're well aware that I am newly married, and that I am your captive! that I won't return alive from Anna's place. One last time I want to embrace my wife! his sisters cringe at his words.. Dutta's ironic words "last time".. really signify his first embrace of Naku as his declared wife! Dutta spreads his arms, I am unarmed! And he raises his arm and says, my Naku too is unarmed! Dutta declares this to ensure that she is not made a target! Dutta here unknowingly has fulfilled the marriage vow that he as a husband he would protect his wife!
He lowers his arms and looks across to her... then walks towards her slowly , nears her, looks down at her as she waits. He looks at her then presses his left arm around her shoulder his chin just above her left shoulder.. Naku feels the back of his head against her left cheek and she closes her eyes in bliss..and he holds her close and she opens her eyes.. and Dutta shifts his eyes to the right and Naku holds the side of her face.. Kala cringes.. as the embrace continues. Baji waits for results. Dutta stares ahead .. his eyes move left to right . Janardhan aims his gun at Dutta in the embrace.. Dutta waits..Naku wonders when he would let go of her. Clinging to Naku.. Baji has FB. how he his slipped the flick knife in the knot of Naku's chunni behind her. Baji recalls Dutta seeing the action.. Dutta now looks past his left palm pressed behind on Naku's left shoulder and discreetly raises his right arm , near her chunni knot at her back and cleverly his finger pulls out the flick knife hidden in the folds of her mustard chunni.. he raises his palm and flicks open the blade! his eyes flash like a killer lion .. Kala festers, Baji waits. Janardhan and his men stand pointing their guns at Dutta who has Naku in a tight embrace his right elbow pressed on her back. Janardhan scratches his moustache. Dutta crouches down suddenly, and takes Naku down with him, a shot is fired at him.HRe throws the pointed knife backwards with great force! it flies across and nabs Janardhan in his arm , his gun drops and he shouts ahhh! Dutta's sisters look aghast! Dutta looks at Janardhan and his gang and in a spray of bullets he jumps and performs a somersault and grabs a gun on the ground then aims the retrieved gun at Janardhan! Shoots at his men one by one!. Baji shouts at his BG hey come lets go they run down the steps grab the guns on the ground and shoot at Janardhan and his men! mass firing is exchanged and Sudarshan and Kishore protect the ladies .. at the top of the steps. Janardhan's men continue to shoot at Dutta from vantage points. Dutta stands in front of Naku before the flower stall and Naku shuts her ears to the sound of bullets. Dutta and Baji continue shooting. Dutta looks back at a frightened Naku and hugs her and holds her close, his arm around her shoulder. She hides her face on his chest her hand on his heart! he continues to aim his gun at Anna's men! more shooting and Dutta screams Baji ! go after them don't let them go!... Naku passes out in the loop of his left arm.. Baji shoots and Dutta's BG s capture the rest of the men from their vantage points!
Dutta shoots and Naku goes limp and he too goes down on his knees as he holds her unconscious in the curve of his left arm. Dutta sits her down and props her up, looking down at her.. her eyes are completely closed she looks reposed .. episode ends. Hamlet53 ~ 18.2.14
Action packed episode.. ultimately ends on a positive note. The episode for me rings a bell .. Dutta's thoughts and words, now you will know what it means to be Dutta Bhau's wife.. this is his life.. but alas! Naku in the thick of action passes out! will Dutta give her a plus mark or a minus mark?
Some other key questions are raised about Dutta's might in the underworld. What Janardhan points out is a dark fact that Dutta is being kidnapped from his own area.. is his status as a don challenged then? we ask..
Serious questions are raised about his security too.. it's not really on the ball. No wonder he becomes the butt of ridicule at the hands of a mere gangster from Anna's gang.
However Dutta's own presence of mind saves him from the pickle he gets himself into.
The episode is not devoid of some endearing scenes. The first has to be the visual messaging regarding a solution to the problem.. between Baji and Dutta. In fact it becomes a tongue and cheek act for the spectators..
The episode shows yet another scene of the positive trio, Dutta, Baji , and Naku working towards a victory.
But leaves us with a question has any one realized who is the real hero of this victory??
Lastly of course the final scene celebrates the first hug between Dutta and Naku.
This first hug is a controversial hug.. in the main it seems part of a ploy. To defeat the enemy.. but it is a cause of concern for the enemy within Dutta's household. Kala is shown visibly reviled and repulsed by Dutta hugging Nakusha.. her worst nightmare is coming true before her very eyes.. can she see the truth behind this hug? Is it one sided or mutual?
For Dutta himself what is the significance of this embrace? Can he even think about it afterwards?

Dutta's den
F.B. Dutta embracing Naku, crouching down to block a shot! Naku has a nightmare Saab! she sits up to find herself in Dutta's bed under his quilt. Babi see's her daughter has woken up. Naku looks around in confusion , and asks ,Aye! Saab? Babi sits on the bed, and says everything is fine, Naku smiles ,really? and Babi confirms , yes and everyone is fine, don't worry , you've saved every one's life. Babi praises her, my daughter is very brave. Naku admits, did you know I was really frightened. Is Saab alright?.. Bappa he heard my prayers and saved Saab's Life.Babi smiles and says, I'll worship today, that no evil eye falls upon you.. your love is very strong and so is your devotion for Bappa , so how could he not grant your wish. Surely you are Bappa's favourite child! truly!,says an excited Bab . She turns to look at the little Bappa's idol in Dutta's room, that Naku had placed there, walks towards it and prays before it.
Ganpat comes up Dutta's wooden stairs , looks around and then sees his wife offering worship to Bappa in Dutta's room. He too joins in prayer and Babi says , see Naku Ganpat has arrived to worship Ganpati as well!. Ganpat complains, don't make fun of me! you know my father named my name after Ganpati Bappa , so when people call my name, they worship Bappa and I get blessing and gratifications in free!Babi glares at him , and he says, Babi did you know Naku has a direct hot line with Bappa! here Naku folds her hand before him! and there Bappa showers her with his blessing! Babi do you it's Naku's devotion, that saved her husband and his whole family today! now you watch how Aye Sahib embraces my daughter! and her whole family will be indebted to my daughter! boasts Ganpat.Naku is not entirely convinced and Ganpat assures her, Naku don't you worry , Dutta Bhau will love you lots! Babi brings him back to earth, hey Ganpat! why are you swelling with pride? have you forgotten how much we are loathed by these people? our destiny is that of paupers, and you expect riches? He tells her off, oh don't talk rubbish! don't you get it our good time has arrived! watch god is going to give us abundantly now! why??because my daughter has yet again saved Bhau's life! had it not been for Naku all of them would be dead! Babi replies,yes that is true! Ganpat builds castles in the air again , now first Naku will rule over Dutta Bhau's heart! then later she will rule over his life! he loves the idea , but Naku listens to him unconvinced, and Babi shakes her head at his idle talk of grandeur!

In the lounge
Dutta 's family sits in shocked silence. Baji paces nervously. Family members look confused and miserable. They obviously are waiting.. Dutta finally appears , on the landing of the main stairway. He walks over and looks down at his family in the lounge. Baji , and other eyes, turn to look up at him. He stands defiantly arms held by his side, staring down at every one. Baji looks up at him angrily and says ,Bhau! this Anna has become very bold! Dutta turns and starts to come down the stairs... first your helicopter crashes! then you get kidnapped from our area! Baji recaps. Dutta comes down silently as his family member wonders why he has nothing to say. Baji fumes, that's enough Bhau! let's finish this Anna's game! Bhau , like Mani Anna! I am not letting his men go alive!I will torture each one of them till death. Dutta reaches the ground floor and looks at an irate Baji! and thinks as he paces with his arms held behind his back... then speaks, that warehouse of weapons in Kamdam wadi, attacks on the old hill, and Masterwadi... now I get Anna's master mind! Anna has forgotten the rules of our business, Baji! in our trade revenge is not sought by pointing guns at the heads of one's family members! For the first time some has done this to my family! He roars.. basically Dutta knows he will get flack from his mother regarding how the family was subjected to such horror due to his dangerous profession. So he himself admits to them , that he is aware of what and why this serious incident happened. He commands , summon every one here! so I can tell them where and when Anna is to be attacked. Aye and the rest of the family are disturbed to hear this. Baji however says, yes good idea. Aye stands up and says forcefully, no one will do anything! and the rest of the family too stand up as she walks toward's Dutta who looks at her confused. She faces him, and says, one after the other , misfortunes are falling upon our son , now I don't want to take any further risks. Dutta looks at her ,and blinks his sad eyes..as his mother continues, now Dutta will not do anything! have you heard me? she takes his hand and places it upon her head, swear on me! that you won't do a thing? he looks puzzled and annoyed with her demand. Kala then adds to her mother's remark , yes Bhau! swear on Aye Sahib this time. Dutta vexed says , so what should I do Aye? what should I do ! he yells. Shall I forget that Anna put all my family's lives in jeopardy? should I wear bangles like a woman! or go to his den and beg for my life? he roars angrily. He turns to face his mother , Aye Sahib, I cannot quit this war halfway! it's against the rule book! if I don't react ,then do you think Anna will stay quiet? he will attempt to take anyone's life.. you think about it Aye, had something happened to any of you! what would I say to every one? some one might have died !if Nakusha! hadn't arrived at the right time! , he points to his room.. and his eyes flash in realization! his mother thinks about what he has said, Kala is on alert , Baji too is surprised to hear Bhau admit this before his family. Kishore smiles, the penny has finally dropped! Kishore seizes the opportunity, yes Bhau, Nakusha .. If Nakusha hadn't arrived on time! then none of us would be alive! whether you accept that or not! but it's true that Nakusha has saved our lives!. Kala fumes , especially since Dutta is taking on board what Kishore too reiterates about Naku. Kishore adds, we should be grateful to her. Kala turns to him , Kishore why is it that whenever you speak it's something out of place?he glares at her, and she continues, Bhau here is talking about Anna! not Nakusha.. the situation is different and you are giving an unrelated solution! she sneers. But Kishore ignores her and courageously walks up to Dutta ,Bhau! I am aware, that currently the biggest and serious threat is Anna..but what Nakusha has done for us cannot be forgotten! once again she has proved that she is not yours or this family's enemy!she is a well wisher! Kishore argues... Kishore continues, the entire neighbourhood knows that whenever Dutta Bhau takes a decision, it will be fair and just! what ever you're doing with Nakusha is not just , it's your anger...Dutta looks into Kishore's face challengingly.. Kala is stunned at her husband's words. Kishore continues, anger and sanity don't coexist together... think about it calmly, you'll be able to justice to yourself!and to Nakusha as well.. Dutta ponders over Kishore's brave admission, but Kala full of wrath comes towards Dutta , what justice? should we forget what she did to our Bhau? if Purhoit ji 's pandits had said this to any other servant of this house , they would have done come running to the temple to save Bhau's life! she didn't do anything extraordinary! Kala stirs... Bhau I don't trust that girl one bit! in panic she goes to her mother, Aye Sahib I hope you too are taken in by Nakusha? you know what she has done with Dutta Bhau? Kala reminds her mother. Kishore looks at Dutta and really leaves it to Bhau.. to decide.. Kala comes back to face Dutta , Bhau that girl is deceptive! Dutta muses.. Kala yells, I say that she came to the temple to save your life. in that too, she has an ulterior motive! Kishore looks at Dutta's face.. who is lost to Kala's words.. Kishore knows Kala is describing herself when she talks about Naku..
Kishore questions his wife, Kala! what is her plan? tell me? according to you , what do think Nakusha wants?.. Dutta listens. Kala asks , what does Nakusha want? she wants that which every girl desires, to own this house! to win our trust and to rule over this household! says Kala defiantly. Amused,Kishore replies, if that had been the case,then why would she come to the temple? she should have let all of us perish!huh.. Dutta thinks. Kishore continues , according to legislation, Nakusha is Dutta Bhau's wife!and if something happens to Dutta Bhau!then she is the next of kin and immediate heir to all his assets!.. Dutta thinks...Kala is stunned into silence..why would she put her own life at risk and come to the temple?Nakusha is not like how everyone makes her out to be! conspiring, plotting , deceiving , is not in her nature!she can bring a change in Bhau's life! Kishore proclaims. Kala sneers, Bhau knows this full well. that it is only Nakusha who can change his life... humm? she sneers at Kishore .. then turns to Dutta , Bhau? but he turns his face.. Kishore too asks, Bhau? but Dutta turns and walks off... while Kishore yells ,Bhau Naku is not like this , Aye Sahib you have got her wrong , he pleads.. Kala smiles.. that Kishore has lost his debate..

Dutta's den
Dutta slowly comes up his wooden steps. Inside the room, Ganpat says, you watch Babi! my dream will come true! Dutta comes up at the landing.. outside his room.. Ganpat says, Naku's destiny will change! and.. he stops as Dutta is about to come into his room with his hands behind his back..Dutta stands in the door way as he sees Ganpat and Babi there.. with a frown he enters. Naku turns her head and sees him as he comes into the room in silence, and stands with authority. Naku moves the quilt and gets out of his bed, and stands up. Ganpat and Babi watch his stern blank face. Dutta waits in silence for them to leave. Babi pulls a reluctant Ganpat and forces him to leave..he probably expects to be rewarded... Dutta waits with his arms behind him.They slip out from his room behind him. Dutta holds his head high..Naku looks at him expectantly. They both stand apart.. both silent.. Naku's eyes shine as she looks at him with hope.. episode ends. Hamlet53~ 18.2. 14
The star of the episode has to be Kishore.. he has brought out some home truths, hopefully.. Dutta can see some sense ..what justice will he do ? set Naku free?
