On the road
Enraged like a bruised lion Dutta flashes both his eyes into the distance where Anna's car vanished with his wife Naku.He growls, I'll pull your guts out!! Anaaa! he roar and the place resounds with his war cry.!Baji lies on the ground so do the rest of his security team.

The house awaits Dutta and Naku's arrival. The first of the white carriers enters the slight gradient to the entrance of PN.. and the other one follows and they stop before the entrance stairs. Inside a Rangoli pattern decorates the entrance hallway that leads to the spacious lounge. Kishore instructs the two flower carriers posted near the entrance, now you two need to shower flower petals as soon as Dutta Bhau enters.. it's interesting to see how Kishore in Baji's absence is managing all the day to day affairs of the house, and Ganpat too does his bit in a bright yellow shirt! A menial comes running and informs the news, Aye Sahib yearns to hear.. Aye Sahib! Dutta Bhau's car has arrived!..but he doesn't feel too well.. Aye's face falls in disappointment...he's not well? she repeats..as Kala , Kishore and others appear anxious.But as his mother she cheers up and says bravely, after all he's returned from battle , so he's bound to have some wounds on his body... don't you worry as soon he comes to his mother he'll be fine in no time, and she chivvies every one. come get busy!
Sethji sits at the end of the table stuffing his mouth with ladoos. Ganpat comes running, hey Babi! Dutta bhau is here! Babi emerges from the kitchen carrying the aarti platter. Aye Sahib smiles at her .. she understands Babi's anticipation.. Kishore teases his wife, Dutta Bhau and his wife are here, aren't you going to welcome them? and then walks away for the welcome. Kala looks so miffed. But she walks towards her family as they stand their eyes glued to the door.
Dutta's feet appear and before he crosses the threshold... he stands still, tall.. his legs slightly apart. Aye looks at her son from toes to head.. his face has a phased out vacant look , and he stares at everyone.. dazed..unsure. Baji comes from behind him and looks equally stoned.. then Dutta limps forward and Baji tries to assist him ,but he pushes Baji's roughly by his arm up in the air ,and with the impact he stumbles forward his hand knocks the platter of held by the flower maid . Dutta jerks forward uncontrollably with his foot right in the rangoli pattern. Babi ,Ganpat, Aye Sahib all are shocked at seeing his condition. Dutta stumbles forward and Baji goes, hey Bhau! and grabs his arm but Dutta roars, hey!and raises up his wounded palm bandaged by Naku's chunni, he has FB images of Anna's face him on the road, and stoically he stands up and growls, I am alright Baji ! and glares at his mother, he limps forward on the red carpet...and his face crumples when he sees Aye Sahib and he begin to stumble and she lurches forward to help her son from falling..he feels her arm and moves his face aside and says, I am ok Aye... Babi looks worried at Ganpat, who asks, where's Naku? Baji feels Dutta's arm and Aye asks her son, what happened? Dutta gives a furious look and flares his nostrils...as he has a FB, of Subhu Laxmi giving him and Naku the parsad on their palms; him and Naku in procession and then feeling dizzy; stretching his arm to a Naku walking away from him, her turning back and stretching her arm back to him; she grabbing his hand then falling back; and him sinking to the ground.. Dutta quivers with rage his eyes popping out of his sockets!..seeing that he seems in his senses, Babi stammers, where is Naku? Dutta lowers his stone cold eyes.. as he has FB of her being carried over the shoulder by some man; being driven off in a van; his hand stretching on the road for her... he blinks and raises his eyes upwards, without speaking. Alarmed at his silence Aye turns to Baji , what's happened? where's Naku ?. Baji startles, then replies, as Dutta turns away, Naku has been kidnapped by Anna's men, Babi drops the puja thalli and both mothers exclaim in shock. Kala's venomous look glimmers in delight. Sethji runs to his mother ,as Babi squeals Naku! my child! and Baji continues , he drugged all of us before he took her! they were all impotent! Dutta pulls his mouth down in fury. Sethji whimpers, Aye why have they taken my Tai? Babi cries bitterly as Sethji asks her in fright, are they going to kill my Tai? and Dutta jerks his head to the side, looks at the boy, and growls in rage, hey! nothing of the sort will happen to your Tai! he grinds .. then turns and limps ahead and says, collect the guards Baji! I'll pull out Anna's intestines and feed it to his dogs!.. all know this means another battle that Dutta will engage in.. Kala, on the face of it she appears confused, as to why Dutta is taking this retaliatory step?. Kishore is unhappy about the news. Dutta with a face pulled to one side in fury, orders, within five minutes assemble all of the BG! within five minutes!! it's clear to all that Dutta's words hold his reaction to Naku being kidnaped, his mother holds her breath, but Kala is rather perplexed at her brother's severe and immediate reprisal.. Babi understandably, is in trauma.
Yet again it's interesting to note that Dutta choses Kishore , rather than Sudarshan, for overseeing the mothers, Kishore get mausi and Aye Sahib to their rooms..how come Dutta doesn't chose Kala? instead he bids his sisters too, to go to their rooms.. indicates to all , no more discussion just action now.
Baji acts and phones his BG, within a minute equip every one up from the go down area ! and he turns and leaves with the existing BGs. Dutta holds his head down in regret...and festers in anger as he recalls , Anna's words he jeered him with, don't want Dutta to feel I never gave him a chance to defend himself.. hey Dutta! get up now I am before you! you have your men around you and you have a gun too..! so up you get and shoot me! should be fair and square, Anna had challenged.. within himself in defiance ,Dutta possibly decides as early as now for the sake of one up man ship that he would confront Anna , minus arms and his men..
Dutta drags his injured leg towards his room and leaves.. as all watch, in silence.. Kala, uses her brain ,how can she use this situation to secure her future in this household, perhaps turn things around for herself?
In attack mode, that spoke of a massive retaliatory offensive rather then defensive. Baji enters the go down .. a semi lit room with crates of arms..Kale, chotten! get here all of you ! he yells as crates are opened and concealed under wisps of straw, lethal weapons of all manner are dished out! and in haste distributed in the semi darkness.. Baji with a scowl holds up his weapon and yells let's go! and silently they file out fully armed.. last few carry crates of reload ammunition.
Dutta's den
Baji stands outside Dutta's room fully poised with a machine gun. Dutta limps out of his room to the study outside his room holding a telescopic rifle. He pierces his eyes across taking in each and every one of his dressed in black henchmen. Baji gives Dutta a serious a sided gaze, waiting for his Bhau to address the troops as it were. Dutta says in no uncertain terms, before you leave this place, you better hear me out clearly! each man here has to kill at least five of Anna's men's...if you kill even one less !then I'll kill that man personally! have you understood! He roars.. and they reply, say the word Bhau! all are ready to lay down their life! and they all resound yes Bhau! like an armed skirmish troop.
Kala comes up Dutta's wooden stairs serenely, as he addresses his men, standing to attention in his study area.Dutta looks at them fiercely, and his eyes stare angrily at Kalawho stands before him on the landing, midway interrupting his strategy meeting. She walks up and stands beside Baji.Dutta mutters at her, Tai I don't wish for you to see all this.. go away from here! he snides at her. but Kala hisses, oh I just wish to speak to my Bhau..Dutta growls, Tai! this is not the right time!, but like a snake she hisses, but I have to speak with you Dutta Bhau! and he recedes back into his room as she looks at Dutta's army waiting for him to lead and Baji takes over..
Kala ~Dutta
Dutta stands in his room with a scowl over his face...clutching on to his rifle.. Kala slithers in and looks across to him, as he stands with his back to her.Dutta growls, what 's happened Tai? and she replies, this is exactly what I want to ask you? what exactly happened in the forest Dutta Bhau? that you are going to save that cheat's life by putting your own life at risk? she comes closer to him and coaxes information out of him, what really happened? that made you forget all that the girl did to you! me! Aye Sahib to all of us! she confronts him and carries on deceptively , it was you who said that none should say anything between you and her...that's why I kept quiet! while you drank the poison of humiliation! then too I remained silent! but this time Dutta Bhau I shall not hold my piece! she gets around him.. and rifle in hand he turns to face her, and her eyes sparkle as she suspects, he will reverse his decision.. but since he just looks across to her without a tangible decision.. she decides to give him some persuasive reminders.. I think I'll have to remind you that this girl that you plan to bring back home..she very cunning! according to circumstances she changes the colour of her face! and this time she has changed her hue to such darkness, her deed is so vile, that there is nothing but gloom surrounding you Dutta Bhau! for heaven's sake she has stung you once! why do you prepare yourself for a fresh wound from her?..
Since Dutta still holds his ground, Kala uses resources to supply him proof of Naku's black deeds. She like a snake slithers where he stands and hands Dutta a sealed envelope, which she tears at one end, open's it, and pulls out Supriya and Ravi's wedding photos...she holds them up one by one and pressurizes him, take a good look at them.. in these pictures you will see Nakusha's real face! feeling miserable and confused,he looks at the photos ,as Kala flicks through them before his face like a slide show, enjoying the pain on his face. that Nakusha! whose life you are going to save! Influences Kala , that too by endangering your own life! look at these photos of Supriya and Ravi carefully Dutta Bhau!..you want to bring back a snake into this household?she holds the pictures like a fan before his eyes! take a good look !yells Kala like a witch and throws Supriya's wedding pictures up in the air and they come tumbling down on Dutta's trauma ridden face. FBs, yes he sure is reminded of the deceptive beauty Supriya.! Baji introducing him to Ravi as Supriya's new body guard! Supriya lying to him.. I want to start life afresh with you; will you give me another chance? you don't believe me? Supriya slitting her hand; he holding her close to his heart; Naku convincing him, accept Supriya Tai..every thing seems wonderful in love. Dutta looks at the scattered pictures of Ravi/Supriya on the floor as husband and wife. FB, his engagement to Supriya; Baji sayng our people have caught Supriya running away with the body guard ravindera; Naku confirming it; yes I caught hem red handed once before! I told Tai , consider ,his how much this man loves you! Dutta moves his face to the side in anger, than moves away from a delighted Kala who waits for Dutta to crack up again! he walks over the pictures and stands away from Kala and has a FB,Kala saying to Naku, now I understand why you did all this? not to help Supriya , but to remove the thorn in your way! Dutta sighs in pain and muses.. Babi begging him , my daughter can never betray you Bhau she loves you! Kala accusing Naku , no Nakusha you wanted something.. she has stabbed you in the back Bhau! Naku confessing boldly before him , yes I have love you , I haven't cheated you! Dutta carrying his rifle , paces restlessly in his room! stops and remembers how she saved every one's life in the temple; tied his wound; hugged him in the forest; eating fruit in the forest; him covering her up; Jagtap handing over Naku's palm , here Dutta hold on to your treasure! their touching palms ,parting! And he taps the barrel of his rifle on the wooden pillar in anger.. Kala watches and waits, as Dutta still provides her resistance, and then she decides to use her next piece of evidence, in the hope that this should do the trick! she moves to him and stands beside him and studies his face, which is back in control.. trauma, free.. slyly and full of guile she puts her hand on his shoulder, and says slowly , Dutta Bhau .. if you don't believe in these photographs , then I also have this letter.. that Supriya has written to Nakusha, why is he so gullible , any one could have written the letter, Kala herself.. why does this don not think? he looks at the letter, she holds it close to his face, but he refuses to read it and Kala looks worried, her game may be failing.. she challenges him, you're still doubtful about her? read it yourself. but he angrily turns away his face. Kala badgers him, you can't read it? you won't read it? ok then I'll read it to you ! and Kala reads, "my dearest friend Nakusha, once again many thanks for setting me free from Dutta's prison, had you not helped , ravindra and me would never have got married. both of us will never forget this huge favour you did for us. If there is any good news from us, we will surely let you know. Take my advice and forget that KILLER! find someone nice and set up your own home with him"... Dutta looks at Kala visibly hurt, and she throws the final dart, this then is Nakusha's reality.. Dutta bows his head , and shakes his head as Kala , watches him keenly.. thinking is he going to crack now? and says, now is this sufficient? or will you still go and save Nakusha? Dutta has a FB, Naku being carried away over the shoulder of a man; him on the ground; her being driven off ; his arm on the road stretching out to reach her.. and he snaps out of the FB and gun in hand moves away from Kala and emerges from his room to face his men. They make room for him thinking he will lead the attack. He stops midway. Holding on to his rifle..deep in thought with a scowl on his face. kala's words echo through his mind, the girl you're bring back to the house, changes her colour according to the situations , she's bitten you once! why are you asking for a new wound? he lowers his rifle and points it to the floor.. Kala comes to his door way.. waiting and Dutta stands with a fixed face.. Babi walks up to his side with her hands clasped , begging..him. Kishore too stands next to Babi. Kala stands behind Dutta for results..
Dutta with hooded eyes turns lightly to Babi, and he opens his eyes and sees her begging hands. Dutta stands mute like a statue. Then suddenly takes a step to the stairs! All his men move too! but Dutta stops, Baji is confused as he sees Dutta pause.. before Babi .. then slowly he turns slightly ,and throws his rifle on the floor! Baji is confused! Babi looks devastated. Like Kishore. Dutta's profile is stiff and hard, as he looks down at his rifle.. past it is Kala highly serenely complacent face.. Kala does regin! Kala Sahib! Dutta has indeed given up ! surrendered before his enemies, Anna , Kala .. the lot! the man is blind.. episode ends Hamlet53 20. 3.14.
Well what a u turn with Dutta. just when we thinking at last the lover in him has stirred, out comes the fiend Kala , Naku hater and stands as wall between tasha.. have to say he comes us across us fickle minded, easily gullible, weakling. His sister on the other hand is astute.. she sure does know how to play on his stupidity and short sightedness.. Kala is on the ball at all times.. she even supplied him the evidence to reverse his honourable decision of recusing his wife..
But Kala takes him a step further and raises the emotional legitimacy of his marriage to Naku...Such is Kala's evil grip on Dutta that he even disregards his nobility of character of bringing back Babi's only daughter back to her..
Not only this , but Kala stops him from hunting down and repaying this Anna by like wise violence.. why? because Kala has pumped him to punishing the cheat Naku instead of giving as good as he gets to Anna.. Kala, slyly ensures that Dutta literally abandons Naku at the hands of his worst foe..
Dutta! why can't you see through the enemy within your house hold who is stealing your sense of honour from you.. Kala's reference to Naku being two faced like a chameleon is irony in the making.. plus all the language she uses like calling Naku a snake who bites is fantastic , as it's interesting to note , that all the characteristic attributes she gives to Naku apply to Kala herself.. Notice Kala had to work hard to hurt Dutta with Supriya reference , as he didn't loses his temper like before.. but Kala knew he would eventually give way..
She approaches the subject by largely showing concern for his life... but really she only thinks of her life.. N.B~thanks for reading the previous wu, mirage, fassben, twinky, Naku, warrie,tammy
