They desperately want Ruhi's custody and maybe they saw that Mihika and Mihir had something

in between, but it might unlikely but still...

I think Romi had something to do with this, he is a creep😡

I think it's more likely to be Ashok (not so much Shagun, who's an airhead, from what I've seen) than Romi. Romi would have the fear of getting caught, whereas for Ashok, there would be no way to tie him to that. But he might do it to lash out @ Mihir for supporting Raman @ his party, and also to undermine Raman if Mihir gets into trouble.
