I heard if your mother calls you, u are allowed to break your namaz only if its a non-wajib prayer i.e. nafl etc... however u are only allowed to break your farz namaz if someone calls for help and you know they are in danger... otherwise farz namaz is not to be broken.

yeah even i was like whhhaaat... I've heard one can break Fardh compulsory ) rakat/namaz IF there's an emergency otherwise it's a no no.
And if one's mother calls them, they can break their nafl rakat/ namaz.

Exactly! It makes CV's look like amateurs. they shouldn't even attempt to make a show about something which they are not fully aware of themselves. I know we aren't allowed to compare but atleast the other Muslim based show didn't have such obvious bloopers, that show seemed pretty much clued about Islamic culture. I hope PH does some research.

I was wondering the same thing. I've heard you can break your namaz if your mom calls you and it's an emergency but nothing about your husband. I asked my sister in law who takes Islamic classes after seeing that and she said it was true. I'm still confused. πŸ˜• I don't think it is. If the makers are not Muslim, they should def try to avoid such talks of the religion as it can create many controversies.

even i was shocked, they need to straight their facts. πŸ€”
They are giving out wrong message, and instead of telling womens right in Islam they were providing wrong info.

I hope they are careful next time. 😳

don't know anything about this, πŸ€” but it doesn't matter if you know about the culture or not i think it's common sense that you should never leave your prayer unless its a great danger.
