Basically, what wasn't to like in this episode.
At first, I didn't like the dowry track but the way it was handled so beautifully today makes me forget all those previous mistakes. Those dialogues written were just so meaningful. And it was the perfect people who spoke the dialogues, Osman and Ghulam. I don't think it would have carried the meaning that it did when someone else would have said it.
And this dialogue,
"Humein apni beti ke liye 40 lakh dene mein koi aitraaz nahi hai par vah ..."
I just love this character soo much! <3 He is like Aliya's own dad.
The Aliya-Mom scene was thankfully good! I'm glad they didn't show any rona-dhona, rather they showed what a mother should do, make the daughter understand. It was written in a great way!
And the Aliya namaz scene when she's alone and they show Zain entering. When she kept her face in the hands, how well was that shot! A mention to the camera man for the great angle!
The Suraiya-Zain scene had me thinking that Zain is going to find out her true intentions pretty soon. I loved the dialogues here too. The actress playing Suraiya is doing a great job of dialogue delivery. Subtle acting all the way!
On the whole, very well-written episode and nailbiter at that.
Precap: The much-awaited slap arrives right on cue. Can't wait for tomorrow's episode!! <3 :D
Do share your views guys! :)
