Very true .. She fakes because Ashok asks her to. I think shagun is a selfish woman and Ashok is using her greed. Maybe she thinks she loves ashok but what she really loves is the life Ashok gives her.

Yeah! Her character was at first confusing. But now, she is showing clearly what she is. A greedy, selfish and fool woman.
