the episode was bad...but ishu did pick some valid points to make raman realise his responsibilities as ruhi's father...the little girl has been yearning for his love and all he does is ignoring her...though this can be avoided in national tv...whatever lectures can be done it should b/w both families...but i agree with ishu with certain points regarding raman...

how long will raman sulk over his past and run away from responsibilities...for god sake he has a daughter to take care of...to plan her future...

Ishita should not have done what she did on national TV. After showing absolute dignity in handling the situation earlier on when she finds out that her parents are taken away by the police, this was ridiculous. If anything, she should have stopped herself realizing that it was an interview, etc but no, she decides to make a complete mockery of herself.

Although I understand her need to take out her anger on Raman, it would have been a whole lot more effective just the two of them or in front of their families.

There are other ways to bring about a custody battle, this wasn't one of them. Yes, it does make it easier for Shagun to gain custody after Ishita's verbal vomit on TV but then again...

Regarding the precap, it is very wrong of Ishita to hand over Ruhi to Shagun. No more how much she cares for that child, she has no right to do that. If anything, they could have shown Shagun prying Ruhi away from Raman - at least Raman might get some realization of how it feels to have his child physically taken away from him.
