well truth to be told i don.t understand the logic behind the doppleganger theory either. we know elena and Katherine are from the same blood line . we know tatia petrova an another doppleganger . i think it was mentioned in season 3 episode 13 she also had a child . but we know amara didnt have a child and neither did silas . so till season four it was my assumption that doppleganger are born from a same family line but if that is.nt the case then i don.t understand the entire logic either .

well here another thing that confuses me in season 3 they told that Katherine and elena are doppleganger of tatia . so that klaus can break the curse . how did both esther and tessa choose to do a spell which involves elena look alike .


well if you mind is not confused yet . here is another question in the season 4 finale silas told that doppleganger are created so that the immortal can be killed using is shadow self . but why didnt they even mention about that in the latter episodes .

so in short i don.t understand the logic behind most of TVD . so if anyone have answers to my questions . please en share

What you're saying is absolutely right. They messed up the whole storyline by bringing Silas-Amara-Tessa track. This whole supernatural connection between Stefan and Elena just doesn't make any sense. Elena was earlier called a Petrova Doppelganger, with Katherine being her ancestor. Then there was Tatiya ( Kat and Elena's ancestor), who's blood was used to create the originals. There was no mention of Stefan's doppelganger back then. All the doppelgangers were from the same bloodline and they appeared every 500 years. The use of Tatiya's blood set this thing off...so that the doppelganger's blood could be used to destroy the originals ( S3 ) and to restore the balance in nature.

Now suddenly there is this supernatural connection between Stefan and Elena, which has no connection to the previous storyline. If these pair of doppelgangers take birth every time, then Stefan should definitely have another doppelganger, either for Katherine or for Elena.

It seems like the writers are confused and can't think of a way to maintain the triangle so they threw in the supernatural connection between dopplegangers. *rolls eyes* Damon seems to be the only normal one, thank god. 🤣 Our one and only unique Damon.

And one more thing just hit my totally messed up brain...Katherine met Stefan in 19th century when she already was a vampire running away from Klaus...then she must be older than Stefan.😲😲

The whole doppelganger thing doesnt make sense.. If Stefan was or Elena, who was for Katherine ?

<font size="2">Honestly TVD got messed up and starting going down ever since the Silas track was introduced in s4.. TVD was better off with Kath and The Originals being the antagonists😡</font>

They really messed up the logic part of TVD . the show started falling apart from
season 4 . when they introduced the silas being stefan doppleganger track . And at least when they introduced original they kept them long enough to explain their history . so we understood their concept but the silas amara track they ended with in 7 episodes we don.t understand anything about them .

it feels like that they have written the whole track to say to the viewers stelena are great as if we don.t have Caroline for us to remind us how epic is their love story.
