Maan sat staring at the place where Geet had been minutes before. He dint know how to react to the words she uttered before she left. She had never spoken to him like this before. Geet closed her mouth in shock. She had never raised her hand on her children. How could she. And most of all what pricked her heart was the knowledge that Kushi knew. She got up from her chair and ran into another room, shutting the door behind her.
Kushi's eyes filled with tears and heart cried in pain. This pain was not out of the fact that her mother had hit her, no.. it wasn't, but it was out of the fact that she had hurt her mother. She had in fit of anger told her mother the truth that she had heard what her sperm donor thought abt her.
