the ost is not ost. its not original. 😆 it is an old hindi film song. a beautiful one at that. this singer is not bad. he hasn't botched it up. can't compare with the original, but not bad at all.

as you see that the ghazal "jee dhondta hai" was sung by some indian singer i think jugjeet and also some paki singers and most recently ali zafar

and then bhulay shah poetry was sung by many singers from the sub continent

so ithink this is not copying

copying is when music was copied or some lines are added to the original song

or to say that i have written this or made the music or things like that 😆

this song wuz composed by sahir ludhianvi for the movie pyaasa, music given by s.d. burman, sung by hemant kumar. it is not one of those immortal ghazals that has been floating down with times, sung and recorded by diff peopl. so this one is defo a copy.
