Well i am not sure if Bheeshm arranged Madri and pandu's marriage becuase as per the mahabhart that i have read pandu met shalya's army on the way and shalya offered him to marry his sister like in BR chopra's Mahabharat and close to what they shown in this mahabharat
So i dont think what they have shown is completely worng or fake
Madri was a princess of the Madra kingdom and the second wife of Pandu. On his way to Hastinapur, King Pandu encountered the army of Shalya, King of Madra. Very soon, Pandu and Shalya became friends and Shalya gave his only sister, Madri to Pandu, as a gift of their friendship. Looking at her beauty, Pandu accepted the lady willingly and took her to Hastinapur.
