Yes I agree. But Krishna is supposed to be narrating the story to youths of today. I would have liked it better if the opening scene was with Shree Krishna starting the narration. His scene looked a bit disconnected to me.
Because the scene wasn't at the beginning, it was difficult to relate with the episode's plot yesterday. But the matter of his scene was desires, right? And that's pretty much Shantanu and Satyawati in a nutshell. So, it all came to make sense eventually.
