What was the point in keeping Kamya,Hazel & Elli in that mini room

Like Seriously they wasted time in showimg kamya & Hazel trying to open the door :/
Finally they were sent to the Jahannum house so What was the point in keeping those 3 beautiful girls in a mini room?
