2~000 students attend MCC fest

The Mulund College of Commerce (MCC) held its intra-college festival Spectrum from Dec 18 to 23.

The festival provides an opportunity for our students to showcase their talents, says Beena Purkait, general secretary. Around 2,000 students attended the fest and the events included dandiya, informals and a fashion show, Swar Sandhya, which was judged by Marathi actors Ajay Wadekar and Vijay Patkar.

The college also organised a farewell party for last years final year students. The highlight of the fest was Mr and Ms MCC, a personality contest, for students. This year, Ramnath and Nikita, won the titles.
Comedian Birbal, actor Vishal from the movie Chandni Bar, actress Manasi Salvi and Green Label brand ambassador Sameer Dharmadhikari were the special guests.

Both have NDA (National Defence Army) backdrop and both the films had fixed their schedules with NDA, who are very strict in such matters.
