The fights in Bigg Boss are not produced on purpose! - Salman

Superstar Salman Khan claims that the controversy in Bigg Boss show is never planned and cooked up, it is as normal as it happens in real life!

Colors TV's big ticket show Bigg Boss is gearing up with its seventh season, which is going to hit the floors very soon. The new version of this reality show promises to be bigger, bolder and compelling, as it will be hosted by Bollywood actor Salman Khan, yet again.

Salman has been hosting Bigg Boss for the fourth time in a row, as he says, "I'm very excited for Bigg Boss Season - Saath 7. I've been associated with Bigg Boss from four seasons and it has been a wonderful journey."

Bigg Boss Saath 7 seems to have pledged to bring out the best and the worst in the contestants, by implicating the concept of 'Jannat and Jahannum', respectively. Talking about the concept of angel and demon, Salman says, "I enjoy watching Bigg Boss and I enjoy my association with the show. This year also there is lot to look forward to and I'm sure the viewers will have a heavenly experience and the contestants will have a hell of a ride!"

As the show Bigg Boss has always been in the news for its amusing dose of brawls and hullabaloo, when asked Salman, will the controversy ridden show prove itself as a wholesome family entertainer, he says, "Being in the Bigg Boss house is actually a scary thing because once you are in the house; you are abandoned from the world, away from your family, friends and cell-phone. You have to stay with a bunch of people whom you probably don't know, therefore, you get along well with few and you don't get along with few."

The actor also went on to say, "An actor doesn't usually share his complete personal life with everyone, but the celebrity contestants in Bigg Boss house share their private life on national television. So, sometimes you see stuff which are not supposed to be seen on television because of the differences in ideologies looks enlarged on-screen. Nevertheless, the fights in Bigg Boss are not produced on purpose. Just like in a normal house, this is their family for 2-3 month and fights are natural."

On the other hand, showbiz wannabes and TV actors are always out to grab footage by making some desperate attempt to be 'seen'. However, since the show is placed at a prime time slot of 9 PM, it is quite apparent that the entire family watches it together. Regarding the same, Salman says, "To be frank, my mother also watches the show quite frequently. If someone like Imam Siddique misbehaves on the show or Dolly Bindra screams and quarrels with the inmates, I am not responsible for it because they are showcasing their personality. Yet, I get flooded with a lot of tweets and e-mails that why are you not reacting to it and it suddenly strikes me that it's my show and I have to put an end to all the hullabaloo and bring a balance in the house."

Furthermore, the actor also added, "If you are fighting there for no rhyme or reason just to make other people's life miserable, it pisses me off. When there is no reason of disrespect and still a mess is created in the house, then you get to see my demonic avatar."

While the actor acts as a peacemaker in the show, on being asked about the angelic and demonic qualities in him, Salman quips, "I have both the qualities in small portions. Personally I feel that being an angel is good but boring, as you get a lot of phatkas in life. Whereas, it's a lot more fun being a devil. The devilish side to me is naughty but not harmful."

Of course, too sweet will be too boring to watch, no? Going by the track record of the show in the past, the new season of Bigg Boss is clearly aimed at giving a new twist with drama that will occur when two completely opposing personality will meet in the Bigg Boss house.

However, controversial celebrities, huge fights have become synonyms with Bigg Boss and now it will be interesting to see whether Bigg Boss Season - Saath 7 will achieve the same triumph with this new concept of 'Jannat and Jahannum'.
