I have read this story and liked it. I think it will become a very interesting drama with some good changes done when the script is adapted from novel to drama...just like they did with Zindagi Gulzar Hai. (The main essence is the same but they have changed A LOT in the drama)
I find it really hard to decide which actor should play the leads..I didn't get any picture in my mind when I read the novel. I remember when I read about the cast of Zindagi Gulzar Hai, Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed were spot on! They were so perfect for the characters they were gonna play. And I think I actually managed Fawad as Zaroon while reading the novel.
I just hope that they don't fail in the initial step of casting. That can be sooo crucial for a drama, it can make it or break it! Sometimes, the most amazing story can be ruined by miscasting. Like Amar-Bail...just watching the characters playing the roles, totally ruined it! And I don't think that Adnan Siddiqui can fit into any role...maybe play an older married with kids, brother to the leads...but not the lead!
If I had to choose any actor...than I would prefer Fahad Mustafa as the second lead...I think Nabeel is the name of that character. At least he can act, and could express the correct emotions and I wouldn't be disappointed by the acting. I don't want any of the new girls as the female lead...
