This part isn't in the novel. In the novel Zaroon doesn't get engaged to Asmara although she does want to marry him. After university, he is out of pakistan and when he comes back, he meets Khashaf and falls in love with her. They just added Zaroon- Asmara engagement part in the drama but it is not in the novel. There have been many changes made in the script. Like Zaroon has brothers in the novel but in the drama he only has a sister, and another one is that Zaroon nd Khashaf had 2 sons in the novel but in the drama, they will have 2 daughters. I can tell you how they'll seperate in the drama. Basically, Zaroon would fall for Khashaf and Asmara will find out, she'll return the ring, and back out . (This part is in the OST of ZGH) So , then Zaroon marries Khashaf.
