Oh I think Ajay is a fine actor. Zakhm is proof of that! 👍🏼 He just can't dance for nuts. In some song in SOS, he looked like such an idiot with a wide smile that I was embarrassed for him 😔

Is that going to be a line he'll say for every film he does now? And no Sajid...you never make "best films"

@Choco I liked him in Ishq & Pyar to hona hi tha , apart from that not really in.. In raincoat & HDDCS Ash overshadowed him..

He was gr8 in omkara though, but he was improved comparatively(Jaan days he was horrible)..

I would recommend Zakhm and Bhagat Singh, Zakhm especially if you haven't seen it :)...It's a Mahesh Bhatt classic from before he actually turned to the crap that he does now. I really liked Ajay in OUATIM also. Deewangee too. Ironically, I think romance is weakest point..though PTHHT was fine. I like him a lot better in negative roles or hard hitting characters. He's much better than his current crop of films though ..

Sonakshi will be seen in a non-desi avatar in 'Himmatwala'

Sajid Khan who has had only three successful films to his credit has roped in Ajay Devgan for his next flick that has been titled "Himmatwala".

News is that Sonakshi Sinha has been signed in to do a special appearance for this film. She will be doing an item number for the song that will have her portray a look inspired from the 80s. This must have been a great career move for Sonakshi as she has been dreadfully trying to get rid of the 'desi' tag that has remained attached to her since her first appearance in films. However, the blame cannot be wholly shifted from the actress as her choice of films has time and again only confirmed the tag.

Recently in the film "Oh My God" Sonakshi and Prabhu Deva danced for an item song in which Sonakshi was seen in not so-classy western clothing. But her first venture to make a breakthrough into fashionable western clothing was noticed.

For the introductory song in this film "Himmatwala", the ambience will be that of disco era of the 80s with shiny dance floors, disco balls, lights and mirrors. It will have 100 dancers besides 400 extras. It is being touted that the look will draw inspirations from Parveen Babi's jig in the song "Jawaani Jaaneman" from the film "Namak Halal".

An insider from the set of the film said, "Sajid has conceived of this lavish introductory song for which he wanted Sonakshi. She has a certain rustic image that she has been trying to break out of. Though she is proud of the roles she has done so far, this song seems like the perfect platform for her to attempt a makeover. Her costumes will be designed by Manish Malhotra."

The music has been composed by the duo of Sajid-Wajid who are riding high on the success of "Dabangg 2". However, this particular song has been created by Sachin-Jigar. Sundhi Chauhan has rendered her powerful voice for the song. Chinni Prakash will be choreographing this song.

Sajid Khan started his career as a DJ at a club in Mumbai in those times and thus is well-versed with the ambiences of that particular era. It will thus be a return to his roots. A source said, "The set is being construed in a city studio and will be called Funky Town."

Sajid was contacted to confirm this news, to which he said "It's too early to talk about the song, but yes Sonakshi has been roped in."
