Geet aka Muskaan can't speak that is why she was named Muskaan may be by Yash only...when he may have found her then Geet may not be able to speak so he himself may have kept her name as Muskaan and as she don't have anybody so he made her his own family and gave his sirname to her so that is why she is called Muskaan Chadha...
