It was a DIFFERENT amar bail with the same name.
The one u r talking about is a drama SERIAL written by umera ahmed.
The one in which Resham is in (my 3rd siggy) is a SINGLE play (45 minutes' duration special drama...not a serial) written by the legendry Bano Qudsia

Resham worked in Umera's Man o Salwa..not sure why she was chosen for that role with all honesty...

why not... she did a brilliant job, portrayed her character with utmost sensitivity & detailing and left a solid impression of her performance as always.
Not to mention she looked really ravishing that was one of the requirement of her role... so I see no reason of her to not been considered suitable for that role.
