Isn't it equal? The man is outside working his ass off from morning to evening, sometimes till night, to earn bread and butter for his family and the woman is inside working her ass off trying to maintain a home. I only see equality here...๐Ÿ˜•

Was Falak a working woman in SeZ? ๐Ÿค” I thought she was a housewife ๐Ÿ˜• Sorry, I've only read the novel and haven't seen the drama much...

And if a woman is working then obviously she is working with her husband's consent and husband would be supportive in his own ways.

yes she was a working woman and her nani criticised her and told her that she should do more household chores, as that is a woman's duty

no sister i disagree...its today's culture thats says otherwise๐Ÿ˜Š...men and women are biologically different...why didnt God just make men or just women...why did he make different genders?
yes, in todays world it sounds backward, but just because we as humans have moved away from the purpose of our being, it doesnt deny that our creator created us differently.๐Ÿ˜Š

Do watch the video i posted, its only 9 minutes long...yvonne is a feminist, still she embraces Islam, there must be something about Islam that changed her mind.

ok first of all there is a note that says do not discuss Islam, and secondly yes god has made two different genders, but that does not mean that we should segregate them in their responsibilities

If you look at it islamically, from what I have read, a husbands job is to go out and earn enough so he can support his wife and kids and get the resources needed to run the house. A wifes responsibility is to take care of her family and house. A wife isnt even supposed to work outside UNLESS her husband needs her support. Thats what their duties are and men and women have been made for different responsibilities although they can help each other, such as a man can help his wife with the chores and she can help him earn money. I dont think there is anything wrong with this. Its fair for both of them. What they showed in this drama was that Falak was too busy engrossed in herself that she was ignoring her responsibilities, I dont think Salman ignored his responsibilities in his marriage ever, the only mistake he made was cheating on her. It is very hard to make a marriage work when one of them is neglecting their duties towards the other. Didnt you see how Tabinda was handling the house when she came in? Did Falak ever do that? I hope you understand what I mean.๐Ÿ˜Š

I think it was partly her fault, she wasnt taking care of her home properly! Sab kuch naukaron pe chora hua tha
From what I have heard from experienced people, as long as you are fulfilling your duties with your partner and keeping him satisfied, he will never go to another woman๐Ÿ˜›

Even if a man isnt fulfilling his duties towards his wife, you would often see the wife seeking that comfort and security in someone else. Not ALways, but often. Waise bhi auraton mein mardon se ziada sabr hota hai and thats a fact so she is less likely to cheat than a man is :P But still the story here was focusing on Falak and her transformation, not Salmans.
