Naintara flew thru d restored victorian a crumpld shopping bag clutched to hr chest.She hurried thru d kitchen & to d door of d basement.She opend it hr elatd thots sliding into unease at d unnatural glow emanatng fm 1 wal of d basement.she descended a few steps & pausd.D scent of sulfur made hr nose wrinkle & heat rendered d basement hot compard to d rest of d drafty old house.1 of hr ghostly slaves movd fm its place in d poorly lit basement & she jumpd in surprise,"Nt now!" she barkd at d shadow demon.Naintara set d bag on d wooden desk & clapped hr hands in del8 at d s8 of d decomposd finger.a man's voice askd,"U hv been out al day,must hv been imp to leave my bed so early." she dint answer him while he saw d contnts of d bag & said,"Am being replacd by a dead man,where's d rest of him?"Naintara said,"Am trying to figure dat out.He's my soulmate,am meant to find him.""And i'm...?""Just a warm body.""U obsessed bitch,u know hell wil demand ur soul fr helping u."
