Hey Everyone!
After quite a long time, I'm back with an OS.
Just a random story that has been swimming around in my mind for awhile.

Let Me Go...
Khushi stood motionless inside her room...
She didn't know how many more insults she could take from Dadi...
Breathing deeply, she murmered..."Arnavji..."
Arnav stood in the doorway of her bedroom...
He had made his decision.
"How am I going to say goodbye...?"
His heart wanted to quit beating at the thought...
But he had to leave...he had to get away from all the pain...
"Khushi..."
Even before he spoke, her heart had felt him near...
Running to him, she lept into is arms...holding him tight...
But this time, his arms remained at his sides...
Stepping back, her eyes questioned him...
She was so pure, so beautiful...
She deserved to go back to the happy life she led before he came and destroyed her...
"Khushi...after everything I've done to you...after everything that has happened...You deserve more...You are way more than I will ever deserve..."
He turned slightly away..."I've taken so much from you...and you've done nothing but give of yourself..."
Khushi stepped forwards and held onto his arm..."I wanted to Arnavji... I've always known your heart..."
"I'm going away Khushi..." his words interrupted her..."I need to get away from all the pain...I need to let you go...and you need to let me go..."
Khushi's heart started to race...
No...
Shaking her head, she tightened her hands around his..."No...Arnavji...NO..."
"Khushi please...you need to let me go...you don't need me...You belong with people who give you the respect you deserve...who give you happiness..."
No longer could he be plagued by the flashbacks of her hurt, her tears, her pain...
Her loyalty and faithfulness were never going to let him go...but that's exactly what he HAD to convince her of doing...
"Khushi...I can't see your pain anymore...I can't...I have demanded that you be given respect, but my family are stubborn...I don't want you hurt any longer...I think it would be a good time now to Let me go..."
Tears glistened in her eyes as his words sunk in...
"You...you are trying to protect me, by pushing me away?"
"Khushi, stop holding on the way you are! Don't you realize that I'm no good for you!? It will only break your heart, if you don't let me go..."
His began to put up his ASR front..."I don't need anyone anymore. I just need to be on my own..."
As he spoke, the shattered pieces of his heart began to crumble and shatter, stabbing him with pain...
Khushi stepped back, her soft cries reaching his soul...
"Khushi...you need to let me go...You don't need me, and I don't need you...even though I still love you..." he took a deep breath and repeated..."It will only break your heart if you don't let me go..."
Taking one last look at her, he slid on his sunglasses to shield his bleeding eyes, and turned his back...slowly walking away...
"Nice try!"
Arnav's steps halted.
Although her tears kept raining down, Khushi stood tall..."You can't hide behind those sunglasses on your face Arnav Singh Raizada! I don't think you're all that tough! You're scared of love...and you don't want this anymore than I do..."
Khushi moved to stand in front of him...
Her hands gently lifted the shades away from his eyes...
Resting her hand on his face, she whispered..."...so let me go...take me with you Arnavji...I belong where you are...We both know that you're not as strong as you think you are...Don't you realize that you're SO good for me, and it will only break YOUR heart, if you don't let me go...with you..."
Something big shifted between them in that small moment.
Arnav took one more step towards her so their bodies touched...
His hands came up to frame her face...
"I don't know why God has blessed me with a love like yours...I will never be able to tell you what you're worth to me..."
No more words were necessary...
Finally, with no more interruptions from the world around, His mouth enclosed hers in a possessive kiss...
With such sweet surrender she felt tears prickling the back of her eyelids.
He pressed their bodies together as he kissed her.
Their mouths weren't apart for any longer than a second or two, as they remained locked together, lost in each other.
He kissed her with as much tenderness he could muster, needing her acceptance.
Her surrender.
Khushi whimpered as her hands began to cling tightly to his shirt ...she pressed her mouth harder against his...
He gently bit down on her lower lip and briefly held it hostage between his teeth... "Shhh...I'm not leaving...without you..."
Happiness found their way into their lives from that day...
And this time they weren't running away from something, but towards it...with each other...
