Behkawa is one serial that has always been under the scanner for all the wrong reasons. One of the most controversial serials today, it discusses taboo subjects, such as lesbianism, extra marital affairs and voodoo.

The serial was earlier moved to a late night slot due to its adult content, before skipping a few episodes abruptly bid adieu due to poor ratings and controversies.

The channel aired thee episodes in the last three days to finish it, as it wasn't getting the ratings and only irked the fans. Geo, which some time back announced that it won't show controversial stuff after serials like Mora Piya and Dil Tou Bhatkay Ga is hugely regretting this one.

Rumors are that the authorities were to put a ban on the serial had they not changed the time-slot. Earlier, it was skipped for two weeks as the matter was under discussion.

We hope the channel has learnt its lesson, and we won't see such over-the-top serials.

When called, no one from the production house was willing to discuss the issue.
