hey, but i have a silly question...ive heard people calling it Ramzan, never heard Ramadan?! Whats the difference between the two terms?

the difference is in pronunciation, the word is the same. V non arabic people call it ramzan, in arabic people don't pronounce the character as "zaad", they pronounce it with the "d" voice. so non arabic call the same word "Ramzan" and arabic pronunciation is "Ramadan". its like the same as they don't call p and pronounce b instead of p there. one of my arabic speaking friend offered me some drink and when i asked what is this she said abble juice which i was not able to understand and took a sip and came to know it was apple juice. the same way some indian friend pronounce "that" word in hindi "bo" and when i translate the word "that" in urdu i call it "wo".
