LOL @ some people here who could only care about QB winning for Humsafar..seriously, is that all some of you see? 😕

Oh my...

I love Faisal Qureshi..but whaaat theee efff?

Fahad was HANDS DOWN the best actor of 2011. There is no one who could have performed in MAQH as good as he did. I love Saba Qamar..& was hoping she won for Pani Jaisa Pyar as she was awesome in it, but I'm not disappointed in her losing out like I am disappointed to see Fahad not winning here. Last yr, Faisal Qureshi deserved it for MZZB..& while Faisal was excellent in Roag..the character of Abdul Qadir was just extraordinary. Fahad was literally playing THREE different characters in this ONE drama.

so friggen unfair to say the very least.

& Sameera Fazal did not deserve best writer for Mera Naseeb..that drama's a rip off of an old Indian novel from the 90s..😕

I'm glad Pani Jaisa Pyar got acknowledged though with Sarmad winning best director..I love the way that drama was directed & that's one of my fav dramas. & why the hell is Noman Ejaz always winning a LSA either through a PTV drama or a satellite drama. ..glad Sanam won something for a change..she was already robbed a LSA last yr by not winning it for Dastaan.

Next yr, Saba Qamar better win it for Main Chaand Si...I was hoping she won this time..but lets see if LSA even acknowledges her performance in Main Chaand Si with a nomination.

^ i am not so surprised as i am getting used to the bias now...first humsafar was not nominated and then they totally screwed up the tv awards except Sanam and Sarmad...QeT was the first play in which i like Sawera so i wanted her to win but then Saba Qamar was equally as good

Saba might be nominated for maat instead...this year hasn't had major hit serials like last year...humsafar, maat and kaafir are the only popular ones i suppose uptil now

Humsafar was not nominated because half of it was aired in 2012. There were other dramas that had great performances that aired right when Humsafar started but didn't get nominated because they had their drama extended into 2012. Humsafar's song was popular right from 2011 hence they nominated it this yr..however it should get nominated next yr..why else do you think dramas like Maat, Kaafir, Maaye Ni, Main Chaand Si etc aren't nominated? Same case as Humsafar.

Saba Qamar should get nominated for Maat & Main Chaand Si. Anyone who has seen Main Chaand Si would understand what I mean here. There is NO female performance better than hers in the past few mths at all.

i havn't seen Maaye ni and Main Chand si but was it really that popular ?

a lot of dramas were over shadowed by humsafar...humsafar ke saamne kuch acha nahi lagta tha 😆

let's see what happens next year and they need to have more categories like negative role, supporting role , comedy and best couple on screen

yes, I agree..a lot of dramas were overshadowed by Humsafar...good for Humsafar, tough luck for the others. I myself was only watching Maat & Humsafar at the time Humsafar was airing. Wayyy later I thought of watching Main Chaand Si..& my mind was blown. Saba Qamar was amazing..& that's an honest opinion. Her acting was just something else. Not just her, even Fahad Mustafa was fabulous..someone like Sami Khan who I used to dislike before, impressed me as well with good acting.

Some dramas are popular & get all the praise..that doesn't mean all the performances within the drama were THE best performances of the yr. I love Fawad Khan..he's one of my fav actors..but I do not think his performance as Asher warrants him an award..& this is coming from his fan. Fahad Mustafa who was sort of a supporting actor in Main Chaand Si had a more praiseworthy performance than Fawad. Personally, Fawad was better in Dastaan anyway in my opinion..& he didn't even win that.

On top of all of this..the yr isn't even over yet..who knows what performances we'll see for the remaining of this yr that may be considered for nominations. Point is popular does not = best performances all yr round.

hmm ya but why do you think Faysal Qureshi would win over Fahad Mustafa ?...i think Faysal has a bigger vote bank compared to Fahad atleast that is what i noticed on FB

And well i do think Fawad's performance was better as Hassan but in my opinion he got more Popular as Asher and he has a much bigger fan following as compared to before so that gives him a better chance of winning next year

in my opinion Fawad has been better then any other actor so far this year in a leading role...i mean humsafar mostly worked coz of him so he deserves to win it for me...maybe i am a bit bias but something like Humsafar which broke all records of TRP and Poupularity does deserve to get a few awards

LSA are the only major awards show in Pakistan , they have so many Fashion categories but not many television ones

instead of terrestrial they should have critics choice which should solely be based on performance

I love Faisal..he's a favorite of mine but credit where it's due..Fahad was better as Abdul Qadir & deserved it this time. I saw both dramas.Roag & MAQH..MAQH was definitely more challenging & Fahad performed beyond well.

If you're going to talk about popularity..then, Faisal may have more fans overall..but do fans overall determine who wins the award? no. Also, how popular was Roag? Roag wasn't as popular of a drama like MAQH yet he won over Fahad. & I never said give Fahad the award because MAQH was a more popular drama than Roag & because that's Fahad's most popular performance till date..I'm saying Fahad should've gotten the award because his performance was way better than any of the other nominees & his character as Abdul Qadir was far more challenging.

If someone thinks being the most popular or having the most popular drama is the criteria for getting an award then I totally disagree. If that's the case then they should have categories called Lux Viewer's Category..where people win based on votes of the fan.otherwise, there must be some credibility to awards. why should deserving people who actually play challenging roles lose out. Once again..in my opinion popular does not mean most deserving of an award in terms of acting...but each to their own. this is just my opinion & I stand by it.
