I agree with many people who commented here, this show is about the stars not about choreographers, so i dont think they should be changed. Also i like shampa, salman, and shavio and i would not watch JDJ if they get replaced.

Are you kidding me? the main reason i watch jdj is for the awesome choreographers, i have been following them over for years, in different reality shows and they all rock. And ever since the DID flavour got into jdj, since jdj4, I am semi obsessed with JDJ just like I am with DID.

I however like the idea of giving chances to new choreographers but its a risky move.. the inclusion of vrushali last year for example was good, punit was instantly eliminated and I only knew he improved through dks, this season he has improved vastly, so that repetition is good. Salman, jaikumar nair: praise the lord they are included both these seasons. Also Kunjan who usually is in savios team, so glad to see her go solo this season. Shampa: how can i forget her, she made the stiff guy gurmeet move and get perfect score.

Diwakar a new choreographer what a smart innovative choreo he is, making a litle older and heavier person like jayati bhatia dance in such awesome concepts. Also he is prolly trained in classical, the way he picked up odissi form in such a short time.
then again we have an immature dancer like sanam and who is partenered with a wooden statue who neither can dance, nor enjoys dancing a bit and shows it off very easily. the only proof males watch this show is archana vijay not yet in danger zone, truly.

Nishant might not be the best choreographer around but he does good when good raw material is provided, in jdj3 he was quite good, and even yesterday he rocked the kathak. savio : Love love him
So good to see deepak back, wish javed , longines come too. Longines will probably not come since he is high profile now, at par with remo and might not want to be judged by him, season1 winner guy forgot his name.
Sonia, marischa they are all good and some really skillful dancers, I donot want them to be replaced by some new people.

besides choreographer means they have mastered the craft to some extent and are experienced, for celebs who cannot or have not danced ever , i would trust them to tried and tested and specialists rather than getting new people everytime.

I didn't like Punit last season, but I think he's put in a lot of time and effort and is doing MUCH better this season! In fact, I think he'll go a long way. On the contrary, Sanam seems so focused as a dancer that I think he forgets that he's the one setting the choreography that's supposed to make his partner's dance shine, instead he spends too much time in the spotlight himself, while his celebrity stands on the outskirts watching him.

I think a dancer requires a lot of maturity in order to become a good choreographer. Experience has a lot to do with it. I think the show would be awesome if they chose the best of the best choreographers - Sonia (Baichung's choreo), Gauhar Khan's choreo (name?), Salman, Shampa, Savio, etc etc. These are experienced choreographers that know what they're doing. They can make anyone dance and look good doing it. I think that's what counts. It annoys me that the show doesn't give enough credit to the choreographers.

I agree! I also believe only experienced choreographers should be allowed to choreograph. Merely being a dancer, doesn't guarantee you can choreograph (i.e. Sanam). I don't know why Marischa is not part of this season's JDJ, but I think she is also a fabulous choreographer, along with Salman, Jai, Shampa, Savio and all.

I feel they need to choose the best choreographers. I mean every choreographer should be at par with others. Some of the choreographers are not as good as others... 😕 Though I am a fan of DID, I still don't know what has happened to the DID participants? Why can't they conceptualise better? And we really need to see new steps... Some of the choreography I feel is repetitive..🤔

So my feeling is JDj should bring in new and polished talent whether it comes in the form of new choreographers or not.

Exactly! I was shocked on seeing Sanam. First, he is just new, fresh from DID 3. Add to that the fact that I don't feel he is an outstanding dancer. He is just above average.

Naah! I would wish the choreographers to stay the same for the most part. The ones like Salman, Puneet, Shampa, and Deepak should be kept because they're so super talented. But Sanam, he has got to go. He is an average dancer at best. Who had the genius (i'm using sarcasm here) idea of making him a choreographer?

I feel choreographers should be experienced, then only they can get the best out of their respective partners and create a difference between an average performance and an extraordinary performance.
Although I think that if someone is extraordinarily talented then they should be given a chance and the assigning of partners should be more random. Make it as transparent to the audience as possible
