Yeah people went pretty crazy for Humsafar and Fawad but he deserves the fame and appreciation. My love for Fawad began when ep's video of Waqt was released. After that I went back and watched his first show Jutt and Bond and there has been no turning back.

I do think that after Khuda ke Liye, Dastaan and then Humsafar, Fawad needs to be smarter with the shows he signs on. Maybe he signed kpkpbt before Humsafar because that story was completely pointless but he should not have done that show. I really hope Ashk is good.

I agree. Kpkp was totally idk..not for Fawad types..he's set the bar too high for us, and himself of course, to tolerate him in such shows now 😆

I actually saw Dastaan during Humsafar as well..

Exactly! He needs shows that do justice to his talent. He might be brilliant but if the screenplay is not good then there isn't much Fawad can do. I could not take him seriously in kpkpbt because everything was so confusing. I couldn't even stand by Fawad. Same goes for Ashk, I am wary because the girls are annoying except for maybe Resham who seems to be quite contained and subtle in the show which is why I am rooting for that pairing. The other two I think are just there to annoy the audience. As for the story, I am sure it will be better than kpkp since it appears to have some sort of story.

Ashk appears to have some sort of a track which kpkp lacked BIG time. I felt bad for poor Fawad the entire time. I was like what in the world has he gotten himself into!? 😳

There was no set story..everything seemed to be going around in circles 😆

And yep, I'm totally for Resham-Fawad in this one since she seems to be the tolerable one out of all 3 here. Even her character sketch looks quite mature and sensible..

Well from the promos, it appears that Resham loves someone else so he tells her to marry him, Fawad falls for Neelam then they get married or something while Mehreen is just roaming around like a crazy person.

I am just wondering... why is everyone running so much in the ost video? Neelam is running a marathon, she seems to have practically gone around the world with the amount of running she was doing. Then Mehreen is running pointlessly. Fawad is walking here and there. For once I am glad for Resham lol she just stands there.

Ashk Starts 12th June on Geo

ASHK' delves into many different manifestations of love, a love of a father for his daughter; love of a younger sister for her elder sister, who has also been her surrogate mother and finally love of a soul for the soul mate.

Fawad Khan as Rohail is on his way to marry his cousin Mehrunnisa (Resham) in Pakistan. Rohail has never experienced the sweetness or the pain of Love, though his friend back at home in TURKEY, Madiha (Mehreen Rahael) has only loved him. Madiha is not happy. She wants to stop him but couldn't. Mehrunnisa's only sister Zaibunnisa (Neelum Muneer), who venerates her sister, devices a master plan to test the man. Rohail falls in love. Even the imperfections appear perfect to him as reason is powerless in the expression of love. But the question is will his love be perfected.
