Written Update - Diya Aur Baati Hum - May 23, 2012
Sandhya is sitting in the bus and Suraj tries to take the suitcase at the same time Sandhya places her hand on it. Suraj then opens her bag and takes the 2 puppet dolls. He tells her she has her hard work in making them and so it is for her. He then takes a mobile phone from his pocket and gives it to her telling she may be needing it while traveling. She does not take it but he places it on the dolls. He says that God decides everything, who should be with whom, maybe they were not meant to be together, that is why they are parting. He tells her to be happy and progress in her life and wishes best of luck for all her exams ahead. He takes leave and Sandhya calls him back. She gives him the male puppet saying that he too had contributed in making them. She then says he has always helped and supported her in all the troubles, sometimes known to her and other times not known to her and she may not have had the opportunity to thank him at those times, so she thanks him for all the help and support he had offered her, both known and unknown to her. She tells she will pray God that he always be happy in his life. Suraj gets down the bus heavy heartedly.

Suraj stands there staring at the bus and Sandhya having flashbacks of SurYa scenes at the doctor's office, Sandhya dressing his wound, oil spill and slip and clothes hanging, etc. while the BG is singing.
Suraj thinks it is better to leave from there soon. He goes in a rickshaw and the rickshaw moves. Sandhya is watching it and thinking what is happening to her and why she is getting weaker as it is she who decided to leave. Suddenly, Suraj thinks what he is doing, he can leave her till Jaipur at least unknowing to her, he will get some more time to be with her. He stops the rickshaw and runs to the ticket counter. Sandhya's bus starts moving. He requests the person near the counter as his bus is moving and gets his ticket and runs towards the bus and gets into the moving bus. He then slowly sees Sandhya, then he moves in the crowd such that Sandhya does not see him and goes to the back of the bus such that he can watch Sandhya from back. A lady (shown in SBB segment) is noticing that Suraj is watching Sandhya constantly and gets suspicious.
In the house, Chotu is bringing some books from the shop. Books slip from his hand and Bhabhasa comes for his help. Bhabhasa notices a new mobile box and asks about it. Chotu says someone gave it to Suraj in the afternoon and tells him the box is empty now. Bhabhasa is in thoughts.
In the bus, suddenly the driver applies brakes and people miss balance and fall and Suraj holds the person in front of him from falling when Sandhya turns and sees his hand and kurta. She is confused. Then, the bus stops at a bus stop. Suraj thinks of informing Bhabho that he will drop Sandhya till Jaipur and will return tomorrow. He gets down the bus through the crowd and takes care that Sandhya does not see him.
Suraj calls house and informs Vikram who attends the call that he will drop Sandhya to Jaipur and return next day.
In the bus, Sandhya gets call, she sees it is from the house. She is worried and then attends the call. Bhabhasa speaks to her and tells he want to tell her something.
Suraj is returning to the bus and a fellow passenger stops him and inquires at what time they would reach Jaipur as he wants to catch his Delhi train from there. Suraj is not interested in answering and tells him to ask someone else but that person does not, he keeps on asking something else. By then, a bus enters the stop and seems like it has brake failure and driver has lost control, and the bus goes and strikes the Jaipur bus in which Sandhya is traveling and fire breaks out.
After some time, police and emergency medical services have arrived. People are running here and there searching for their relatives, medical workers taking the injured to tents and treating them. Suraj is searching for Sandhya. Then, he sees a little girl holding Sandhya's puppet doll. He goes and asks her who gave it. The girl answers that someone gave her and she was very sweet and she also bandaged her wounds and then she points in a direction pointing someone. Suraj goes there and calls her "Sandhya ji" from behind and that lady turns and she is someone else.
Precap: Suraj borrows mobile from a person and takes a slip which has Sandhya's number and calls. Sandhya's mobile is ringing.
