Ranveer Singh and Sameera Reddy have developed a special underwater bond.
The actors have been spotted swimming together at a Bandra club regularlyNot all friendships in the Hindi cinema industry start on the sets. Some blossom amidst dumbbells and treadmills. And some, like in the case of Ranveer Singh and Sameera Reddy, happen in a pool. The two actors who often workout in a Bandra club, bumped into each other by the pool side a couple of weeks back. And it was true friendship at first sight.
A source from the club revealed, "Both Sameera and Ranveer frequent the club. They are fitness freaks and often visit the gym and the swimming pool. Recently they bumped into each other at the gym."
And since then, their friendship has crossed the first level - the poolside, and entered the gym. "They have been spotted working out and swimming together. They share workout tips as well. In fact, a few days back, they decided to have a swimming race. It was fun since neither of them lost the challenge. Both finished at the same time," added the source.
There had been several gym-buddies in Bollywood earlier. Saif Ali Khan and Bipasha Basu used to workout at the same Bandra gym. Bips' ex-boyfriend John Abraham used to workout with her as well. Tusshar Kapoor and Ajay Devgn, Devgn and Sanjay Dutt, model Freddy Daruwala and Salman Khan - had at some point in time been workout buddies.
And thus, when we contacted Sameera, she had no qualms in admitting that she has indeed found herself a new friend. "I bumped into Ranveer at the club I frequent. Since then, it has become a routine. We work out around the same time. He is in great shape and one can draw a lot of inspiration from him," said the actress.
