Arnav turned back to Khushi...
Terror filled her eyes...
Her whole body was shaking...
"I saw him...Ar...Arnavji...I did...please believe me..." tears dripped from her eyes...
He stood up and pulled the large screen across...hiding them from any eyes that looked into their room...
As he sat back down on the bed besides her , she placed her shaky hands on his shoulders...

"I...I saw him..." her voice now barely audible...
"sweetheart...Do YOU trust ME?" he asked pulling her closer...
Her gaze clung to his...
Something different was in his eyes...they held a quiet power that she'd never seen before...
Khushi opened her mouth to speak but Arnav lifted his fingers to her lips...
A tiny sound came from her mouth and Arnav lifted his brows and shook his head...
"we're safe...we're together...trust me...please..."
Khushi finally nodded...
Arnav leaned over to the table near the bed and brought over a drink of water for her...
Along with some medicine..."the doctor left this for you..."
Khushi quietly took the medicine as Arnav fed her the water...
Once she finished he dropped the cup to the floor...
Arnav moved in fast...he slid instantly over to her and brought his mouth intimately close to hers...
She braced herself for a hard kiss...
What she felt though, was his breath on her lips as he pulled their bodies tightly together...
"I am here with you..."
All fear left her...and she closed the distance between their lips...

The darkened corridors of the hospital held one eerie sound...
Breathing...
A freakish whisper resounded through the air...
"Home today? I don't think so Arnav...I may not be able to get through that locked door, but you have to unlock it to leave...I may not be able to see past that screen you put up, but i know what you've been doing to MY woman...I won't spare either of you...home today? ? ?..." an evil smile etched over his face...

Arnav and Khushi leisurely kissed...their tongues tangled...their breath mingled...and amidst the quiet passion he lay her back onto the bed...
Her hands were clinging tightly to his shirt...her lips were firm and her brow furrowed...
Arnav's hands circled her hips as he gently coaxed her lips to soften, to respond to his sweet heat.
Khushi slowly yielded to him.
Their breath mingled while warm, tender flesh brushed across warm, tender flesh. A nibble. A lick. A soft sigh. Arnav's tongue darted toward hers...
He canted her head and her mouth opened fully for his kiss.
Her heart thudded madly as he swamped her senses with the delicious, erotic ways he used his tongue.
He explored patiently, all the while, his hands moved over her body.
Her blood pulsed.
The scent of aroused male surrounded her; heat from his remarkably firm body burned her from the inside out.
Her dizzy moan of pleasure turned into a surprised gasp when he broke the kiss and looked into her eyes...
He saw Khushi's eyes wild with desire...he saw her pupils dilating ...
"Ar..Arnavji..."
"I love you...you're safe with me..."
Arnav captured her mouth in a wet kiss that sucked all lucid thoughts from her head.
He touched her, floating his hands up her stomach, caressing her ribcage, cupping her breasts softly with his wide palms.
The ripples of pleasure were making a mockery of anything she'd felt before.
She melted into him while his mouth continued to destroy her.
Dizzy and aching, he pushed his pelvis forward, wishing all barriers between them were gone and they were skin to skin. Man to woman.
But tonight it was not about making love... it was about making her feel love...
It was about protecting her...
As the kiss slowed he saw that the different tablets were starting to take effect...
"Arn...Arnavji..." her voice went groggy..."wh...what is...happening...
Arnav hated to do this to her...but he had to protect her at any cost...
He whispered against her lips..."Don't worry...please trust me...Sleep sweetheart..."
And with that ...Khushi fell asleep...
Arnav stood up slowly...making sure she was comfortable...
He turned towards the hospital door...
His eyes burning with fury, hatred, and rage...
