Child artiste-turned-actress Hansika Motwani (of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand fame), her brother Prashant and mother, Dr Mona Motwani, have been thrown out of their Andheri bungalow.
Father behind it
The family believes that Hansika's father Pradeep Motwani has done this in cahoots with a bank.
Hansika's mother separated from her husband four years ago, because of his philandering ways.
Says a source, "Seven to eight people barged into Dr Mona's MHADA bungalow on Tuesday, when Hansika was alone. Thereafter, they sealed the house."
Wants house back
| The bungalow from where Motwani was forcibly evicted | The bungalow where the Motwanis stay is said to be in Pradeep's name, and he has not kept in touch with them since the separation. Adds the source, "Pradeep stays in Daman.
He wants to throw Mona and the kids out because he wants the house back." Mona is in talks with her lawyer, and confused about where they'll stay now. For the time being, the family is staying with a friend, in Juhu.
'We are in shock'
Said Mona, "We are in a state of shock. I don't want to talk about this now."
Hansika, who acted as a child artiste in Jaago, Hum Kaun Hai, Abra Ka Dabra and Koi Mil Gaya, is now doing He: The Man, her first film as heroine, opposite Mithun Chakraborty's son, Mimoh. |
