Leading a dual life can sure be a lot of work! Kareena Sood is in a fix. She has exhausted her two months deadline in Mumbai. Her mother wants to get her married to her childhood friend Littu from Chandigarh. In a bid to extend her stay, she applies for a job with the Chamatkar Group as secretary to the Chairperson, Tribhuvan Lal. The sole condition is that the job requires the applicant to be a traditional Indian woman...and if that was not all, one who is bound in holy matrimony!
At her wits end, Kareena cannot decide if she wants to stay in the city of her dreams or go back home to Chandigarh where her mother has started planning her marriage. To make matters worse, Kareena's best friend Tanu pleads her to be her proxy in Radio Curry for a short while till she sorts out her life. Forever the friend and companion, Kareena decides to give both the assignments a go...simultaneously!
